Throughout the process, Emanuel repeatedly apologized and cited different reasons for the delays, including roofing issues, measurement problems, painting, and personal setbacks. I remained patient, communicated respectfully, and gave him many opportunities to complete the job because I understood that life can be difficult. Unfortunately, after months of missed commitments, I requested my deposit back. Despite my repeated requests, I did not receive the work I paid for, or the refund I requested. My experience was disappointing not because of a single delay, but because of the repeated promises over several months without follow-through.
