When I tried to correct the misinformation, the legal assistant "told me how it was" as if she had authority over me and told me the attorney couldn't help. Ok, you can assert control over MY information but you still have it down incorrectly. Then they made a dismissive comment about me on my google review saying they don't practice criminal defense. Well, maybe you should update your website then. Update: Oh wow! As if on cue, they have been kind enough to demonstrate their (pattern of) behavior for a third time in their response. They also divulged my name to the public in their response to my Google review, which thankfully Google took down. So. If you want a law firm that is 100% positive that everything that comes out of your mouth is wrong, you don't know what you're talking about, and doesn't maintain confidentiality, then this is the "representation" for you! You know, if actually representing you is not what you need!

After my vehicle was impounded and inventoried I was rudely awoken in my cell to new charges of POSSESSION W/ INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE CANNABIS. I as a 100% disabled army veteran use cannabis to relieve the symptoms of my PTSD, TBI, MDD, & Anxiety and had a months supply w/ me as allowed in CA (not SC) After giving years of my life to my country and knowing I have a constitutional right to travel these lands (that I defended) unmolested I felt asking for me to potentially serve 5 years in prison and pay up to a 5k dollar fine was absurd. The first attorney I called told me he would be able to get it less than 5 years. I almost accepted that, but then I was encouraged to call some more attorneys. I got ahold of Mr. Johnson and was told for 1.5k more in attorney fees that I'd have a dog in my corner for the fight. That dog was Mr. Johnson, a true badass who was ready to go to bat for a patriot. Guess how it all turned out???? NO JAIL TIME & ONLY A $690 fine (court costs included) THIS IS THE DOG FOR YOUR FIGHT in SC or GA Court was over 17Jun2019 (yeah almost two years because SC's drug testing lab is complete bullshit.)

He agreed to facilitate the transaction on a retainer basis. Atty. Manton pocketed the fee, scheduled an appraisal, submitted required forms and waited for responses. Atty. Manton failed to answer inquiries from the client, real estate agent and State and Federal representatives from May 2024 to August 2025. The State and Federal files were closed and required refiling by the parties in the sales transaction. Attty. Manton will not return calls and nor does the law firm. Sales transaction was closed by another law firm.
