State Farm Insurance - Night of Accident

I have insured with State Farm for 40 years, love them and my agents to death, and would recommend…read moreState Farm to anyone. The two star review is based on the OUTGOING GREETING that is mandated by the central office and forces all State Farm customers to endure an outgoing message that is approximately 2-3 minutes long, discussing every possible detail of their privacy policy before the call will be connected to the office and there is no way to circumvent this greeting. Off all the blockheaded, idiotic and tone-deaf punishments that a company could impose on it's customers, this one really takes the cake! I get it. Someone got butthurt, who knows the reason, maybe because State Farm called the client's home about a late payment for his mistress' renters policy and the wife answered, and now 70 million people have to each endure a 2-3 minute oratory on State Farm's privacy policy before they get to speak to their agent. Hey State Farm, ever hear of "Press 1 to hear our privacy policy, Press 2 if you do not care to hear our privacy policy"

THEE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER CREATED…read more... I PULLED up one day to a man all on my property nearly blocking my driveway and taking pics. I said why are you doing on my property, he said I'm from state farm we are just taking photos around our customers property, I had no heads up or nothing, be said now worries won't affect anything just updating out information. Then around Aug 24 I received an email about a 5 billion dollar settled claim about crooked stuff STATE FARM HAD DONE...all the money we pay the little check I got wasn't any big deal. Mind you I've been a loyal customer for decades and I like simplicity, honesty and professionalism. Companies are great at taking your money each month, in about 30 urs I may have filed 3 claims, but it was natural disaster type shit and the whole world needed to file claims. So fast forward to last weds or Thursday Sept 23 or 24th I received a letter In the mail saying if I didn't cut trees and some limbs down I would be cancelled January 2027. My first thought was what an UNPROFESSIONAL LETTER, AND DFMUCUFU(DONT FUCK ME UP CAUSE YOU FUCKED UP) And my grandmother always said ITS A RIGHT WAY TO EVEN DO THE WRONG THINGS IN LIFE. SO BEING THE PERSON I am I cancelled them and have a new company I even explained about the trees and my loyalty and all. Anyhow I wanted to let everyone know to never let others decide your future and your money you gotta beat them to the punch STATE FARM IS THEEE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER I STAYED SO LONG TO HAVE COVERAGE BUT THESE COMPANIES DONT VALUE LOYALTY AND SIMPLICITY AS ITS PEOPLE FROM DECADES NEVER FILING CLAIMS AND THEIR USING THEIR MONEY TO PAY CLAIMS I AM SURE. STATEFARM IS TRYING TO PLAY GOD AND FORESEE THINGS SELFISHLY AND SAVE MONIES, THIS IS IN FACT A DEVLISH MOVE. BUT THEIR LOSS NOT MINES BEWARE OF STATEFARM EVERYONE. I'm forced to out 1 star but really NO STAR HERE IS THE LETTER IF THEIR UNDER HANDED NESS

At a time when many big name insurance companies are still having settlement issues, even from as…read morefar back as when Katrina hit, it's wonderful to know that the other end of the insurance company spectrum can make one mighty proud and grateful that there is that other end. That other end that one can only find out about from first hand experience that one would surely have rather never had been forced to experience the hard way. Farmers/Foremost insurance is that other end of the insurance company spectrum. The one you can depend on, count on, when things go terribly wrong, and a comfort to know that you have standing guard when things are just fine. Maybe Farmers needs to change their logo to the militiaman farmer, a plow in one hand and a rifle in the other. Ready to serve in time of trouble. On 23 June 2016 my wife and I, along with our two dogs, barely escaped our home in the middle of the Erskine fire in South Lake, California. The fire swept through leaving nothing behind and with the burning embers floating in the air in a dark thick cloud of smoke I was the last one out after having failed two attempts to save our cat before it was too late. The losses where overwhelming and only after having fled does one begin to realize what all has been lost. Everything we ever had in our lives was gone. From our home to all our clothing, food, personal papers, my wife's wedding dress she stored so diligently, pictures, memories, everything. We were moved into a make shift refugee camp at the Kernville elementary school. The not knowing what the final loss was the worst part. It wasn't until the second day there that we found out that all was completely destroyed, but we were not alone. Hundreds of families had suffered the same fate and one family was lost in the fire. It's hard to have to relive those final moments, but the one other thing that made sure we were not alone in the aftermath was two dear sweet ladies from Farmers insurance. Allison Kitchen and Nicole Thompson. Two Angels that got the ball rolling and set us up immediately with the best Farmers insurance adjuster in the world, Geoff Dopheide. Don't ask. I couldn't pronounce his last name if my life depended on it so I just call him "Jeff". What I do know is there was someone up above watching down on my wife and I as he sent us the finest Angels to take care of us and quickly so. We had nothing but the clothes on our backs. The only food we had was at that make shift refugee camp that night and the next day, but the following day, and without discounting the Godsend of the first responders, the many volunteers, and donated supplies, the cavalry arrived with money, hope, and a place to stay with a roof over our heads. Farmers to the rescue. While Allison and Nicole took care of making the contacts, Geoff was setting us up for a place to stay, money for food, clothing, personal items, and running the numbers quickly to cover the finals for our loss. He saw to it that we were paid out the maximum of our insurance coverage and between FedEx'ing the checks and direct deposit, we had the means to at least start our lives anew within the second day of the fire. I'm too old to start over again, permanently disabled, and will never be able to replace all that was lost. No one could. However, Farmers insurance did everything humanly possible and then some to get us back on our feet and for all of their wonderful personalized timely service I can never repay them. There are lots of things that money just can't do, lots of things that money just cannot replace, but for the things that can be done and with a caring that one would might only expect from immediate family, there's Farmers, Allison Kitchen, Nicole Thompson, and Geoff Dopheide. (whose name I still cannot pronounce) Angels, one and all. All of our insurance is with Farmers at the Allison Kitchen's Farmers agency in Bakersfield, California. There it will always be. Our heart felt thanks, John and Gabriela Campbell

I am extremely disappointed with the way my roadside assistance request was handled today…read more My truck would not start, so I contacted AAA for roadside assistance. AAA assigned Tow Express LLC in Shafter. I was initially given an estimated wait time of approximately 30 minutes, but after waiting, the time was changed by another 90 minutes. Because of this unreasonable delay, I had to cancel the request and create a new service ticket. During this entire situation, I tried calling Tow Express LLC multiple times, but they would not answer the phone. I then contacted AAA again for assistance and spoke with Diane. My experience with Diane was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. She told me that Tow Express had been trying to contact me. I explained to her that I had received no call from them and asked why she would simply believe their statement. She responded that she "knew" they had called me. After checking my account/status, she eventually acknowledged that I had in fact been waiting for approximately an hour and a half. However, she still dismissed my concern and told me that the wait would not count because the original request had been canceled. My complaint is not simply about the wait time. My concern is the poor service, the lack of communication, the conflicting information, and especially the way Diane handled my complaint. Instead of listening to me and trying to understand what happened, she immediately took the towing company's side and essentially accused me of being wrong before checking the facts. A customer who is stranded with a truck that will not start should not have to deal with this level of frustration. At the very least, I expected AAA to check the records, communicate honestly with me, and make sure I was okay and that I had a way to get the situation resolved.took them two hours and 30 mints to do it
