It's such an outstanding building, you can stand on Queensferry road and look down for about half a mile and see it at the end of the longest drive in the world. It's imposing and a real big part of history and the style of architecture would make any art student weep.

Large high school in the south of town educating around 1700 secondary school aged children…read more(12-17). The catchment area includes Kincardine and Rosyth. The school also functions as a community centre, offering evening classes and sports team. There is a decent sized swimming pool which provides swimming lessons on weekends and during the school holidays. The school has good sports facilities, with large rugby and football grass pitches, outdoor tennis course, 3 indoor games halls and a gravel pitch mostly used for hockey. In terms of education, the quality is probably around average for a state school with some excellent teachers and some not so good.
