All the landscaping was covered with tarps. They worked steadily for 12 hours and completed our roof replacement in one day! After several inches of rain during the last few days our roof, which was new in 2011, began to…read moreleak through the light fixture in our master bathroom. The roof is sound and everything appeared to be in good order. I began the search for a roofing expert to make a somewhat emergency inspection and repair. Mostly I got voice mails, the largest roofing company locally told me it would be three months for them to help me. Most others never returned my call, except Badger Roofing. I explained to Chip my situation and even though they were booked up and busy also, he made time to personally come to my home within two hours of my call. Chip went up on the roof and found the vent which was not properly sealed up from the original construction; now it had come loose to the point of allowing rain to go through in to our attic and down a light fixture. Chip had it repaired within 15 minutes of his arrival and he explained everything to me. Great job, super timely, very professional and knowledgeable. With any roofing concern in the future I now have Badger Roofing at the top of my list to call.

The entire summer, 6 months, went by without Lang responding to my phone calls and texts. The first week in September, I gave up. My husband called them and they had words, and at least I got my deposit back. Here's what's so disappointing; I got 4 different estimates for this job before I committed to Lang and Son. The estimates ranged from 22 to 27 thousand dollars, comparing apples to apples. I went with Lang, even they were the most expensive, as they were respected in the community. And I thought they would be reliable. Well, not to much. Very, very, very disappointed!!! The whole summer wasted. Fortunately I found a manufacturer in Gleason, WI, that prefabs garages with extras that Lange didn't include in their quote and it will be 4 thousand dollars less expensive.

DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY! What an absolute nightmare this…read morewas! This ugly experience will live in our memories forever. This is not a company, it's a one man man army of destruction! Tim Taylor Jr. was obviously the only employee/owner for that company. He started most of his conversations with "I don't want to fight". (That should have been my first warning.) He gave us every excuse in the book as to why the two month job he promised us took 8 months. Constantly asking for more money when he barely showed to work, and if he did show, it was only for a couple of hours. Then, when it was finally over ... he left a mess behind for us to clean up. Luckily, we bought insurance when the house sold, because shortly after the sale, the Village Inspector called to inform us that the roof over the front porch failed inspection!
