A week ago, I scheduled a pick up with Dump Street for this morning. They're a no-show.
Our first interaction left a lot to be desired regarding communication, but some people are just not assertive or clear when they communicate.
When I realized he hadn't asked for the address, I volunteered the info. No reply. Again, I naively allowed room for poor communication. I trusted if there was a problem of any kind, he would let me know. If you can't or don't want to do the job, then you can't/don't want to. Just tell me! Everything is hanging in the balance, & I've got schedules to keep.
Today, he was a no show, and each time his phone went straight to voice mail.
I expect the possibility of ghosting in social situations, but professionally? Seriously?! Dump Street lives up... or rather down to its name. A dumpster fire best avoided. read more
