We had rented a dumpster from a different company earlier in the year and when we wanted to rent another we thought we would go with dumpster dudes. Other people in our neighborhood had had dumpsters from them so I called and asked some questions about pricing, size, features of the dumpster, and finding out it was a better price than our last dumpster I confirmed on the same phone call that I would like to order a dumpster. I gave them a card number, told them the size, our address, some details about our driveway and no problem got it confirmed for the next weekend by noon. That day comes, noon comes and goes, so I call they said it should be there soon, now its 3pm we had now waisted much time that was suppose to be used to clean. I called again and was told they have no record of me, my address, no empty dumpsters, my name wasn't even for the next day or any day. I wasn't mad but annoyed so I said what happened, what am I suppose to do, we planned the day, we had limited time, how is this possible? I had to give all the information again, card number, address, etc. He was nice about it, got a dumpster there by 4pm and knocked some money off. But how in a matter of an hour did he get a dumpster when he said there was no free ones...I don't know. But I was just happy to have a dumpster. Thought it was over? nope. When they were delivering the dumpster it looked close to our garage door because it had a swinging door that opens to walk in heavy stuff which we planned on using. I told the delivery guy are you sure the guy is going to open. He reassured me its fine its fine...we didn't need to open the door til the next day. We unlatched the door, swing it open, and it stops at 90 degrees, because it was a centimeter too close to the frame of the garage door and would not open fully...so in conclusion a dumpster is a dumpster so it was fine we got a dumpster with money knocked off but the hassle it, that doesn't all make up for it they should have their act together. read more
