Among the retail options are notable stores such as Sleep Number, Old Navy, REI, Brighton, White House Black Market, and Carhartt, among many others. The dining selection includes a variety of restaurants, including Not Your Average Joe's, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Dok Khao Thai, Aroma Latin Fusion, Firepan Korean BBQ, and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. A seasonal ice rink is in the center, between Dok Khao Thai and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. The area is well-maintained and offers an inviting environment for shopping and entertainment, including the Alamo Movie Theatre, and pleasant strolls during favorable weather conditions.

I try to keep an eye on sales. They also have free gifts with purchases on cosmetics at times. They keep it clean. I have seen some items tampered and stolen in the jewelry department. Cosmetics and perfume areas are nicely displayed and offer samples. Popular items there are bought immediately and scarce there like the seasonal Estée Lauder blockbuster gift. They only had 500 that year. By the time I went to purchase it, they were all gone. I ended up buying it elsewhere for a higher price. My favorite items to buy here are the nail products for manicures, maintenance, and to save money from going to nail salon. If I can purchase the same items at the PX from the commissary, I buy from the commissary. The prices tend to be cheaper there yet there are less options at the commissary for cosmetics and beauty. Sometimes, the prices are too expensive, so I opt for places with the same products at lower prices with the same quality. For example, you can buy bleach and a pack of stationary cards for only $1.25 at Dollar Tree with the same quality as the higher priced PX products. Customer service has ranged from good to excellent. It has mostly self service to purchase items. Coupons for items, returns, and some discounted items are rung up by sales people - the lines can be slow for this. Overall, I like the PX and have little complaints. It is clean and convenient.

There are movie theaters, a Giant grocery store, drugstores, and a few entertainment places. That might work for the average suburban mom or dad, but I just don't find it "all that." This place is busy. They do have a lot of parking spots. Please be careful of non drivers. I go here occasionally. People that live close by, probably enjoy it for the convenience factor. To me it's another strip mall. They have some stores, but nothing that screams must go to type.

All who own these types of shopping centers, go for your look via their architecture as it's simple yet more refined. Parking in here can be a struggle though. That's because a lot of people are in the West Springfield area, which seems to be a hot spot for the yuppies of the region. There's a Whole Foods or "Paycheck" here, and also some yoga and massage type of establishments. On a plus note love the Planet Fitness. It's one of the best in the chain. Also the Starbucks and Walgreens are convenient for the basics. The BGR burger restaurant really doesn't do anything for me, because there are so many competitors, and it just is rather bland and like the others. You may have some issues with traffic, as Old Keene Mill and Rolling Road can be cantankerous. Yet this shopping center serves a purpose, and I'll give it three stars, an average rating.

Before I tried on she kept telling me that I needed to purchase a cap for $1.00. No problem but she repeated to me several times while I was in the store trying on a few wigs. I decided not to purchase and just leave but in the end she asked me to give her the dollar as if I were going to run out the store. No tax or ring up she just took the dollar bill in hand and offered no receipt. I wish there were more non-Asian shops in the area. I think these people are cold and rude when it comes to black and brown people. In the future, I will go on line to patronize other businesses.
