I've grown some grey hair thinking about whether this should be a three or four star playground and after much deliberation and hair dye, I've decided to stick with 3 stars. This is a wonderful, fully fenced playground with NEW equipment (take a hint Onkaparinga City Council!). The lawn is looked after. There is a table/chair set under shelter and LOTS of room to kick a ball.
The things that let this playground down are; there's no drinking fountain, no toilets (not a big issue seeing as not all bigger playgrounds have them), lots of graffiti on the playground and empty bottles on the table. I understand that the graffiti and bottles shouldn't reflect the rating but in my experience, something like bottles can end up being broken shards which you do NOT want around a playground.
In saying all of that, I would be more than happy if this playground was at the end of my street! It may not be a 'destination' playground for those on the other side of town but if you're in the next suburb, it's definitely worth a visit.
