Plus, Dr. White is an awesome doctor! He is witty, genuine, and down to earth. I had several friends who were pregnant at the same time as me, and anytime they left an appointment with their OB, they felt panicked. Even when issues arose (extreme morning sickness, an iron deficiency, and high blood pressure) I felt taken care of! He delivered my son, and made me feel so confident throughout the whole birth. If I have any more children, I would definitely want Dr. White to do it!

My previous review expressed how nervous I was about seeing so many different doctors BUT, after being a patient now for 2 years it doesn't bother me, especially for annual appointments. I've been going here for a couple months now. I'm not impressed with how impersonal it is. Changed OBGYN's after moving to NJ. Coming from an office with one doctor to Brunswick Hills where there's 8, is not comforting. I have no idea if I will get to meet all 8 doctors before I give birth or if I will remember them on the day of. I called with a billing & blood resultsquestion once & didn't get a call back for two weeks. For this reason I turn to a family member in the medical field when I have a question or concern about my pregnancy instead of calling the office. I wonder how familiar these doctors are with patients after only meeting for a few minutes maybe once ever? The staff seems friendly enough. Wait times haven't been long at all - a plus. I will update my post after giving birth. After this pregnancy I definitely will not be using this office. I will look for an office with 1-3 doctors max. Double and triple check with billing on what you need done and if it's covered. If you ask for the codes of anything they say it's included in prenatal care yet you are stuff with bills of things you didn't know you got done and will get a fee. They blame the insurance but don't tell you you can decline. Doctors are nice for the 10 mins you see them. They will glance are your chart, review results and send you off. Not many ultra sounds are done throughout your term so keep that in mind. Extended hours make scheduling a bit easier but do not be late it you'll be waiting. Haven't delivered yet but I will update to give transparency.

However, when I arrived, the extremely rude front desk demanded a $40 copay in cash only. After the visit, I contacted my insurance company and confirmed that a preventive annual checkup should not require a copay. When I called the office to request reimbursement, the front desk claimed my visit was coded as an "annual plus problem." I never scheduled a sick visit, never asked for treatment of any new problem, and was never informed during the appointment that any additional service would be billed. When I asked what "problem" they were referring to, they refused to explain. To make matters worse, after my March 25 annual checkup, they billed me again on March 26 for additional charges that I was never notified about and still do not understand. In the end, I paid more than $100 for what was clearly scheduled as a covered annual preventive visit. Very disappointing experience with rude staff, poor communication, lack of transparency, and questionable billing practices. I would not recommend this office.

They tell you that you have to see a breast surgeon for the prescription. They won't provide one because the nurse told me that only a breast surgeon can determine what type of biopsy you need. I think they're trying to avoid liability issues in case they recommend the wrong biopsy, my guess, not a fact. Sloan Kettering and Penn Medicine said you can't see a breast surgeon until after you get your biopsy done, and both major cancer hospitals were surprised that this was Axia's policy. So, if you think you might have an issue, don't go here or you'll have to pay for an additional doctor visit somewhere else just to get a prescription.
