After…read moreobtaining multiple quotes from various roofing companies, as well as personal recommendations from neighbors and friends, we made an excellent choice with FCR. The initial appointment with Trent was professional, informative and well-presented. Clear explanations and many samples were provided. Our informed decision to contract with FCR was based on their reputation, multiple recommendations, an early target date with a one-day installation, and a very reasonable price quote. The FCR crew of 17 roofers arrived on time, placed protective tarps around our entire house and protected our gardens. They started systematically removing our old tile roof without any delay and quickly contained all debris which was removed immediately. The efficiency of all these workers was amazing. Clean-up was quick and methodical. Basically, the entire process was flawless. Dan was very hands-on and present. The following day, he noted a couple of small cosmetic touch-ups, which were immediately addressed and perfectly remedied. All-in-all, a stressful and major improvement to our home was expertly completed in record time. Thank you to the entire FCR team.

Tyler is hands down one of the most responsive contractors I've ever worked with. They were always on time, cleaned up beautifully and were very knowledgeable about all types of landscaping - They discovered when removing an old flower bed from around one of our oak trees that the tree had actually died. The roots were dead. We would never have known without their expertise. We called a tree service and they are coming to remove the oak tree. It has been a month since they sodded the yard and it looks absolutely beautiful. Tim answered all my questions regarding watering, fertilization, etc. and always returned my texts and phone calls promptly. I highly recommend them and plan to have them back to do landscaping on the front yard!

Amazing Work!!!! My wife and I had major construction on our…read morehouse in Winter Park over the past two years. When the work was finally completed, we were left with no grass, no flowers and no plants - pretty much a barren wasteland that looked horrible. As we put the word out to landscape designers, we started to get contacted by several companies wanting to quote the work. Steve from S & L was the first to respond. He was punctual and professional at the estimate appointment, COMPLETELY understood the assignment as we described what we wanted and provided a very reasonable quote for the work we requested (he even provided us with a thorough sketch of our vision the very next day!) This was a marked difference from the other companies - some wanted to charge us just for their plan (!), some had to be chased down for a follow up, some missed their scheduled appointments and others were ridiculously high with their estimates. Throughout the planting/installation process, Steve and his team were in constant communication with us, asking us to check their progress as we moved forward so that we were all on the same page (even offering GREAT suggestions). My wife and I could not be happier with the results. We have a beautiful lawn of new sod, several beds of native Florida plants and trees and dramatic uplighting that makes our home look like it was photographed by House and Garden. We honestly couldn't recommend Steve and his team enough. We're VERY happy customers!

I am writing to share a warning regarding our recent experience with S & L Landscape Diversified in…read moreFlorida, owned by Steve Nease. Our project was significantly overcharged, including instances of double billing. The company used low-quality materials that did not match what was agreed upon: the sod was low-grade and brown, the Agave plants were frostbitten and rotten, and no weed-prevention matting was installed, leading to immediate weed growth. The final result is worse than our original garden, and we now have to hire another contractor to fix the damage. Additionally, because Steve failed to pay his suppliers, the sod company has placed a lien on our home. Please exercise extreme caution if you are considering working with this contractor. They are unprofessional, rely heavily on subcontractors, and mislead customers regarding the quality of their work. We fully agree with the negative experiences previously shared by others, such as Jessica H., Alex K. they did the same things again used materials off of their old job. We wish we had seen those warnings prior to hiring this company. We are sharing our experience to help protect others from these dishonest practices.

They should stick to just laying sod and not taking on jobs they know nothing about. We're having to hire another Company as I tried to communicate with the Owner but he was extremely argumentative. We're hiring somebody else who specializes in millings/asphalt who will have to re-do all of the work we paid for, and we will be sending Local Sod the bill. Also, we paid for 3 sickly pallets of grass of which they laid and it died. The Owner knows we took great care of it, but it was just bad grass. We shall hire somebody else to take up this mess, lay new grass, and send Local Sod that bill as well. I shouldn't of accepted that grass when it was delivered but that's on me.
