He's rude, loud, dishonest, disrespectful, full of excuses, unprofessional, and has a nasty vulgar mouth. If there are any issues or touch ups needed after he is paid, it's hard to get him to com back. He cussed and used the f word over and over and told the guy he was working with about having sex with his girlfriend. He said she got on top of him riding him and she couldn't control climaxing - not his exact words, but more appropriate to say for this review. Now how disgusting, disrespectful and unprofessional to go do work at someone's home and talk like that. It took two months from the time our home was painted for him to get the paint to look the same. He sprayed our house originally and then touched up with a brush and it looked lighter. I asked him does that make a difference and he told me no, but I read online it makes the touch up look different and lighter. On 9/30/23 he came after I told him I would report him to the BBB and he ended up repainting the wood trim across the front of our house and ended up getting paint on our shutters that we didn't notice until the next day (see pictures attached). By the end, he got rude with us and said he was supposed to be somewhere an hour and a half ago. He was supposed to come the day before and didn't and several other times and didn't show up - real shocking that he would say he was supposed to be somewhere after all the times he didn't even show up. That day he finally said that he thinks it all looked lighter because it was sprayed and then he touched up with a brush and he didn't know why he didn't just repaint that area in the first place. I was surprised he even said that because for a month he kept saying it wasn't him or how he applied the paint or anything. All of the issues and the touch ups were his own fault and he tried to act like I was being picky and he blamed the other two guys that worked with him as well. He doesn't take responsibility for his own actions and blames others. We also paid him to fix a gutter that still leaks. He's nothing but a coward. Once he's confronted he runs and hangs up on you. He blocked my number and deleted his thumbtack page after he left our home because he knew he had got paint all over our shutters and left it. You can tell in spots where he wiped the paint off and it looks smeared. I never do reviews, but I don't want him to do this to other people. We paid him a lot of money and he was very rude and caused a lot of issues and it didn't have to be that way. I'm sure if the tables were turned, he wouldn't want to be treated that way. He also goes by John Martini Renovations and J Martini Painting & Handyman Services just in case anyone finds him on other websites.
