There was an obvious error in their favor, so I called to point out the discrepancy. The paralegal, Debra Mayer, tried to intervene and would not transfer me to the billing person. She admitted she knew nothing about the billing but still would not let me talk to someone that did. She then transferred me to Terry Mauer. I expressed my concerns but was more or less told to butt out. To that end, my son paid the bill minus the error. Two days later, he received a $60 bill for my phone call. Maybe this isn't illegal, but it is sure is unethical. Stay away from Zoss Law!
