Dr. Fuller is a magician for any sports injuries you may have!…read more Pre-covid I was an avid Barry's Bootcamper with 4-5 days of intense workouts and sometimes doubling up a week. As you can imagine, HIIT workouts and heavy lifting can cause a bit of strain on the body. I initially came to Dr. Fuller at first for wrist pain and chronic knee pain which he thankfully diagnosed as tight forearms and gave me help in stretching out my IT-band. He thoughtfully explained what was causing the pain and gave me exercises, myofascial release techniques to help mitigate and heal the issue as well as follow up appointments to track the injuries' healing. I love the way Dr. Fuller educates you on your body and muscles & tendon connection as he's trying to explain the injuries. The other thing I loved is that since he specializes in sports medicine & injuries and is active himself, instead of defaulting to the usual Doc advice of "just don't workout for 2-3 weeks" he tells you exercises to avoid and modifications to do until your injury is healed. Since that initial visit I have come to him w/ a sprained ankle, strained calf, and most recently due to Covid lockdown neck & shoulder strain and hip pain/tightness. My neck & shoulder ceased up so badly that I was in tears actually and he was kind enough to accommodate an emergency visit. (Turns out working out intensely indoors then sitting in front of a makeshift WFH setup isn't great for your body.) He helped me out so much and through follow up visits that involved cupping & myofascial massage movements and at home icing and exercises, I'm back to overhead shoulder presses and working out 3-4x/wk again. Whenever I get injured Matt is the first person I call!

It's certainly not completely healed, but I left with a dramatic improvement. The difference was obvious, and honestly, it surprised me. I didn't fully appreciate how much he'd helped until I got home and started moving around. What stands out most is not just Zach's skill, but how much he genuinely cares about his work. You can feel it in the attention he brings and the quality of his touch. After all these years, he's continued to refine his craft, and it shows. I'm incredibly grateful to be on the receiving end of that kind of dedication. Thank you, Zach. I'll definitely be back.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lawler and how greatly he helped me and my neck injury. I…read morehighly recommend Upper Cervical Chiro. I'm a Dental Hygienist, and have worked clinically for 10 years which has taken a major toll on my body. During the pandemic, and most likely due to stress and my occupation, my arm and hand started going numb while working, and my neck was in severe 10 out of 10 pain. I could barely finish a day of work without tearing up from pain, taking loads of pain meds and muscle relaxers. I couldn't sleep, I had headaches, brain fog and general fatigue. My doctors at Kaiser sent me to get an MRI which showed 3 herniated discs in my cervical area, at which point my doctors placed me on disability for 2 months. I was in so much pain that my doctors at Kaiser recommended I have a steroid epidural in my neck, which showed little success as I was still in so much pain. My docs then recommended that I consult with two different neurosurgeons due to the severity of the herniation and the pain. At this point I started looking to change careers thinking that my days as a dental professional had to be over due to my health, which was really sad and scary, especially during a pandemic. After much consideration, I decided that I wanted to try the conservative route, so that's when I called Dr. Lawler, and I am so glad that I did! Dr. Lawler was direct, educational, and I literally call him a miracle worker because in less than 2 months, I became 95% symptom free, and am back to work with no issues. I am no longer taking pain meds, or muscle relaxers to get through the day. No more headaches or brain fog and I can sleep well at night with no neck discomfort. Dr. Lawler literally saved my career! I can't believe that I almost agreed to have MAJOR surgery! I'm so so pleased with the therapy I experienced, so look no further, bc Dr. Lawler's got your back! Literally! Thanks Ryan!!

I've been seeing Allen Wood for all of my back and injury treatment since 1993 and have been more…read morethan satisfied with my experience over those 25+ yrs. While many will think of a chiropractor as only focused on the spine, Allen's practice has always been about more than just spinal manipulation. I think his whole-body & sports medicine focus starts with his own experience as a martial arts athlete. But I have also seen his development as a practitioner evolve over the years, driven by a desire to treat his clients well and simply because he's keenly interested in the science of the body. It's no surprise then that over these past 27 yes that I've seen him as many times for shoulder or hip work as I have for back issues. He really is able to help across several modalities and parts of the anatomy. The other great thing about Allen and his practice is what I refer as bedside manner -- that is, how he treats you as a person, not just as a shoulder injury or a back adjustment when you visit. He is great at the interpersonal skills, including taking the time to really explain the issue, the treatment, etc. And that experience goes beyond Allen himself; the offices he's created have younger chiropractors that seem to follow Allen's lead on care giving and treatment excellence. My 27 years of patronage should speak for itself, but I'll say that I have seen other chiros -- mostly when Allen has been out of the office -- and they always leave something to be desired. If you have a sports injury or need a back adjustment, I highly recommend seeing Allen Wood

I was on strong pain medication just to function, and I had given up on the idea of getting better. Heather explained early on that they don't just treat the part that hurts. They look at the whole body to find what's actually causing the problem. Doctor Andrew found it, and he didn't stop at my back. He worked on my feet, my thighs, my pelvis, my neck, my shoulders and my posture. He taught me how to walk, sit and stand properly. It was a full body recovery. Heather is there at every visit and she genuinely cares how you're doing. Their goal was to heal me so I wouldn't need treatment anymore. That's exactly what happened. Not always the type of characters you want to spend much time with. I met Dr. Cohen about 7-8 years ago from a referral because I didn't want the traditional 'crack' treatment; and he was one of the few in the area that offered other treatments such as the Activator, Graston, etc.. Dr. Cohen is an extremely down to earth person that I immediately felt comfortable with. He doesn't do a cookie cutter treatment plan, he listens, he understands, asks the right questions, then after explaining to me what he thinks is happening to me, will start the adjustments with techniques I'm comfortable with. At this point, he has full reign, I trust him with whatever technique he thinks is best. Once he solves the issue (and often times more!) that brought me to him, I may not see him for another couple years. Recently, I experienced severe tendonitis for 6+ months, no help from Kaiser...I then caught one of Proactive's newsletters and Dr. Cohen talked about a new device he was recently working with at The Olympic Training Center. It' called Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT). I hadn't seen Dr. Cohen in couple years so I reached out to him and explained my tendonitis situation. I started the treatments and I immediately felt the change the next day. Things went up and down for several weeks, but it was clear that change was happening. After a couple months of treatments, I'm feeling fantastic! Being in my mid 40's and not able to pickup an empty glass or plate was devastating to me. Dr. Cohen has been instrumental in increasing my quality of life over the years and especially with the recent Shockwave Therapy - life changing. Book an appointment.

I had…read morea fall a few years back that really screwed up my sacrum, and have had a lot of pain in my back and sacral areas since then. Colin has been able to alleviate a lot of my pain through first a regular series of treatments, and then as-needed over the past 6 months or so. He also spends a lot of time explaining why I'm experiencing the pain; how, for example, my lower back pain is connected to and influenced by the messed up areas in my neck. In addition, I have, like many people these days, some wrist and forearm pain from working on the computer, and Colin has helped with that tremendously as well. A few other things are great about Colin. His style is very intuitive, and I get the sense when he's working on me that he's paying close attention to subtle shifts in my body, instead of just doing a few adjustments and calling it a day. Also, he plays great music during treatments, and has a relaxed, down-to-earth manner that I find extremely comforting, without ever sacrificing his professionalism at all. He has also given me a bunch of stretches and exercises to work on at home, so I always feel like my general health and healing are paramount. I also think his rates are very reasonable. See this man if you have any body issues at all... You won't regret it!
