We rode out from his stable down his driveway to the road where the horses were walking on the pavement and around a basketball goal (he was directing us to walk them in the grass however, there was very little room to do this because it was in the right of way) and then he had us heard cattle which was not fun because we aren't experienced, and it ended up being more stressful than enjoyable. One of his horses had an injury on his back and hoof so he was limping and I had to lean forward as to not bother his sore - in my opinion it was not worth the money. It's not an actual "trail ride". Its up and down someone's property and street. He also had his daughter come in on a Saturday to help out which was odd. I'm being generous by giving 3 stars.

We saw deer on the trail and butterflies. Our party had a seven year old and their horse was lovely with her, very gentle and rode nicely. Catastrophe struck during our ride- my phone fell out of my pocket on the trail! Char and Kathy went out and rescued my phone, so now I can write this review. Overall, me and my family are very satisfied with their horses and the service of riding on this trail. Them helping to save my phone on their own time was super nice, they helped us take family photos while we rode. Couldn't recommend them enough! You'll have lots of fun! I did this horse back riding on the beach with my dad and we had the best time! There were 8 horses…read moreand 8 riders, each had their own guide. The guide I had was Melissa and she was amazing!!! She was welcoming and sweet and she knew so much about the horses. She also offered to take multiple pictures of my dad and I with the underwater camera I brought, which was a nice added bonus. During the ride, we did 'tricks' which included surfing (standing on the horse), horse swimming, running in the water and holding their tails while they ran (which I learned from Melissa is good for them). The guides all encouraged you to try the tricks but if you didn't want to do something, you didn't have to. Overall, great experience! The only issue we had was that we signed up for the 8:00am and it got changed to 3:20 because of the tide. We were about an hour away and when we got there for the 8am, no one was there. Come to find out it was changed due to the tide (needs to be low tide) when we called, they said they emailed us but when they looked further, they saw the email was never opened (thinking they had the wrong email?) and no one ever called to follow up. It was a little frustrating, just because it was a lot of driving back and forth but the customer service was nice when we called and the experience made up for it. Would definitely recommend this, just pay attention to the tide schedule :)

We went to the stables for a horse ride session and ended up going canoeing as well. Our group was…read moreso large so the staff broke us up into two groups. Half went horseback riding and the other half canoeing then we switched out. Each session was about an hour long. We also got to tour the farm lands a bit before everyone separated, saw a few different animals which the kids love. The canoeing was fun and we stopped off on a little beach type area along the 22 mile stretch of water. Obviously we did not canoe the entire 22 miles I don't think we would've made it back by nightfall if we did LOL. AnyWho we hopped out and had a look around our new found "beach", self exploration the headed back. FYI the canoeing session was a self-guided tour so if you do that first be sure you keep watch of the time. The horseback riding was pretty nice and relaxing. The weather was perfect and our guides made sure that we were all comfortable. They gave us cold water and also stopped to take a few photos for us. If you have children they'll only go on the short version where you circle back twice so you'll still have an hour or you can just head back after the first time around. However if there are only adults they will actually take you into the woods. Overall this was a good experience. They take their time to set up everything but they make sure it's done right. Also it was a bit messy because they are shorthanded and things have been crazy since Covid.. We had to get her own canoe flip it over and wash it out. No big deal for me. They did have three other canoes for the members in our party, remember we were an unexpectedly larger group. All of that was understandable. Everyone enjoyed themselves and it was quite the experience for the little ones.

My granddaughter, age 9 loved the pony ride. She gives it a 5! Could use a few more…read morevolunteers/employees.
