The attendant was super friendly and helped explain their card system, we loaded it up and off I went. With only 2 large capacity dryers there is a smidge of jockeying but that totally is dependent on when other loads are done etc. The machines were clean, no mildew odors, and I saw staff cleaning machines throughout my time there. The minimum amount of a wash is $15 while the minimum amount of a dry cycle is $5. Seems like easy math to put $20.00 on a card and you're ready to go, but wait, there's a $2 fee for their silly card that you're forced to use... so now you have to put another$2 on the card, but wait, their system has a minimum amount you can add, so you have to put at least $10 on the card. No matter what I did I couldn't get my laundry done and not have money left on the card. When I asked the attendant how I could get my change, I was told there's no way to do that. I realize it's a business, but you're not helping your customers by making the laundry process harder and mandatory fees for a stupid kiosk. I won't be using the services here again. One star for cleanliness, one star for having new machines that work. Minus one star for high cost, minus one star for mandating their stupid charge card, minus one star for non-disclosed fees and the balance of the card I can't get back. Just for reference, I sourced local laundry services.... You can drop off a bag of clothes at a local laundry service, they will wash, dry and fold your laundry for you for $15.00.
