Great place for all your fishing needs . This place has all the stuff used by locals and commercial fisherman alike . It does seem a bit cramped but I assure you they will have what you need to slay what ever is running at the time . The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great floating dock for you to pull up to so you can refill your gas tank , fuel tank , or if you're hungry you can fill up your tank lol . I understand not all people in a tourist destination are excited about it, but some common courtesy and attention would be appreciated. The employee working the cash register couldn't be bothered from her phone call to answer a question then when she did she half heartedly gave us directions. My son had to use the restroom bad, and she pointed to the keys and said it's around back. Admittedly I took a wrong turn and left the store to the right. Walked all the way around and when she left the store to finish her very obvious personal call, saw me walking in the wrong direction and just let me keep going. When another marina employee noticed the bathroom key in my hand and walking near the other employee he just shook his head and directed me back. Put it this way, it was a close call for my son and this is not the purpose of the marina, but come on. This was probably a bad experience as every other encounter with every other business on our trip to the area was fantastic. read more

We came here after trying to get oil from Caspers. Who were rude and said they did not carry oil. DUDLEYS was helpful, sent someone down to help with the dock lines. Place looked clean and tidy. Dock hand was very nice. Lady on the phone when we called was not what you call "warm and friendly", but she was not rude. Very matter-of-fact. Who cares when you are in desperate need of emergency oil and you live on board your boat. We also got a bag of ice and unloaded trash. I thought they were overall very helpful. They also allowed us to stay at the dock while we tended to our engine needs. read more

Come on the place is cheap to stay at, they have hot showers, a courtesy car, great selection of fishing gear and general boat maintenance stuff. The bathrooms were not the nicest, but better than some I've seen. The staff was friendly and helpful and cute. If you are passing through stop in Swansboro,t hey have a couple good bars and some good restaurants, plus with the courtesy car this is a good spot to hit a grocery store and do some provisioning. read more

maybe 2 stars are too much for this marina. It's much like tying up at a random post on the waterway that happens to have electricity. Marine junk is everywhere...No one seems to care what it looks like! The bathrooms and showers are like the worst campsite you've ever stayed in. No one was available to help with repairs.... It caters to the local fisherman and no one else. Plus it is not connected to the great little historic district of Swansboro...Try Caspers Marina...which is only slightly better. read more

The dock is very shallow. Not a place for sailboats. We were grounded for hours and finally called a tow. No one at Dudley's cared. They should have warned us when we called that it wasn't good for sailboats. read more

I'm a local & feel that Dudyey's is over priced from boat/trailer services to everyday fishing needs. The old man who owns/runs (?) the place is a grump , never smiles, & is not very welcoming. Runs the place to where his employees are afraid of him. I now go elsewhere! read more

I called later one evening after a bearing on my boat trailer failed encounters to goose creek. They stayed after hours until my friend got there to get a new hub/bearing set. Very helpful staff with reasonable prices read more

It's hard to give this marina a bad rating since it is so cheap - .75/foot and no charge for electric. They also have a loaner vehcile which was free. For these benefits, I would give it two stars. The Waterway Guide add indicated that they had floating docks. Well, there is a floating dock there - but it wasn't being used and looked to be in very bad condition. There were no boats at it. We were instructed to dock at the T dock (which is not floating). The pilings were in bad condition with what looked like bent nails in them. Upon departure, the wind and current was pushing us hard against the dock, and even with help from dock hands, the pilings caused damage to our teak rail. Also, upon leaving, we did a sharp u-turn toward the channel and found ourselves scraping bottom - and we only draw 3 1/2 feet. There aren't a lot of options in this area, but I would avoid this one in the future. read more
