We set an appointment to see the boat and when we arrived Charles was fully prepared. Now here is the Select Boat difference from other sellers; Charles is very enthusiastic about boating and he shares that with his customers. He does not pressure you to buy. Charles made everything easy from answering questions (even questions other people in the industry would have just dismissed), to doing all of the paperwork to purchase the boat and trailer. After the sale Bert gave me a quick tutorial on our new boat's systems. I can easily say that from start to finish and even after the sale Charles and Select Boat continue to impress and reaffirm that buying through them was the right choice.

In addition, he told me that boat had a warranty on the engines. Last weekend I blew up a lower unit and upon taking it to the dealership I learned they were aftermarket and not covered by warranty. Again, Charles Lied to me in texts and to my face and put my family in Jeopardy as we could have been way offshore. If you purchase something from Charles you should take extra precautions. When I contacted him he didn't respond, please be careful when you purchase something from these businesses.

Don't go here, bought a boat 2 years ago and the bilge never worked, took it back 3 times and still…read morenot working right. Had issues with the engine and was told water pump and after paying $550 the same thing happened after taking it out once, told them not to do anything until they called and told us the problem with a price quote, but they went ahead, charged us for another water pump $240 even though they were supposed to have fixed the problem. Then told us it was our fault that it was sucking up sand ! Really after putting it in water once and having motor up, I'm so mad this is ridiculous ! Won't be going back there ever again

Lucky for me I located Southern Air. Book early because when the weather is good, the planes get booked fast. I was fortunate to get the last spot for the weekend with CFI (pilot and instructor) Robert. When we met, I told him I was more interested in a tour than a lesson but would,like to fly after he did all the hard stuff. He made sure I stayed away from restricted space and made the whole trip perfect. No matter if you are a pilot or just wanting to take a tour. Awesome little marina to stay at for a rest. The staff are so so friendly and help anyway they can…read more Easy to get to coming in from the ocean also. There is a Walmart, Lowes, Dicks Sporting goods, and several grocery stores (Lowes, Piggly Wiggly, and Food Lion) all within 6 miles of the marina. Best of all they have courtesy car you can use for around $10 for two hours. Two good restaurants in area, the Sanitary and Floyds 1921. Both have been in business a very long time. There is fas and diesel fuel available along with coin laundry and dryer machines (around $2 a load) plus nice clean restrooms with showers.
