He explained the mechanics of how the foot controls and impacts the entire body. He also gave a mean foot massage. But on the serious tip, his table-side manner was great and he makes his patients feel welcomed and comfortable. The front desk staff was pretty nice too. I'm still not sure about the whole physical therapy thingy since 95% of the stuff I did, I can do myself at home, but my next visit will be a decision maker. All in all, although I'm lucky enough not to require physical therapy as a lot of people I know and hear of, but I would recommend him thus far.

They adjusted her back and then he adjusted my back. FOR FREE! When I come back to NY I will definitely see him again.

There are hand sanitizer outside each elevator. Out of the 4 times I've been since Covid, I have seen one other patient in the waiting area just once . The other times I was the only one in the waiting area. I haven't had to wait more than a minute before being escorted to the room, which is sanitized I'm between patients. All staff wear masks. Massages are no longer provided which makes sense for safety purposes, but I do miss them! They were the icing on the cake. Front desk has a Plexi glass and the front desk staff are always super friendly and so attentive! Dr. Cho: Is simply amazing. She does a very thorough full body assessment and is very attentive. Acupuncture: You simply feel the stress melting away, you might even take a little nap! Ladies: if you're trying to get pregnant (especially via IVF), acupuncture is really helpful. I am a dancer and do yoga and thought that was enough, but then kept having persistent sore irritated muscles I could not "fix" on my own. I found out about Dr. Max from a Health and Wellness fair and had a free massage that was SO helpful, that I decided to go in for an office visit. It was amazing!! First, the office is brand new and clean and the staff is super nice. Dr. Max is an expert at adjustments (or there are other methods to correct you as well if you don't like adjustments), and the medical massage after makes you feel AMAZING. I've also done some PT work there, and they have been super helpful for exercises and stretches I do on my own that keep me feeling good. I can honestly say I feel 100% fixed as the left side of my neck and lower back were constantly irritating me, and now that pain is totally gone. I go back for "tune-ups" whenever I can fit it in for preventative care as a dancer so that I do not get injured. He and his whole team are extremely experienced and can help with anything or just help to relax you. At my office job, literally half of my coworkers now see Dr. Max as well as we all love him!! I can't recommend him highly enough. Just GO. You will not regret it, I promise. It's funny, we will joke at work about who is seeing Dr. Max that day as we are all hooked, and we yell at those who have not gone in yet. He is covered by insurance so it's ridiculous to not go! I should add that I've seen a couple of other chiropractors in the past, and it was not the same and had been a waste of my time. I would get adjusted and feel good for 10 minutes and then it didn't last. With Dr. Max, it is the opposite! I literally can feel good for weeks. He's amazing. One more thing!! They are very flexible with scheduling, which I really appreciate as my life is so crazy. His score: A++++

I asked multiple times and asked what my copay is because I know i have a copay and he said I don't pay anything. Now, they sent me a text messaged with amount I owe them. I asked why that is and still no clear answer. I reached out to my insurance and they confirmed it's because they are out of network. Why would you lie to me and tell me you're in network if you're not?! Why tell me chiro and pt is part of my insurance and covered if now on the phone you say only acupuncture is covered?! What the hell?! Never coming here, and I will not be making any payment that my insurance doesn't cover. Like I said on the phone, send me to your billing department to get this settled. Update : They asked me to take down my review because it's not fair to the doctors. Please read what I wrote again. I was able to get in touch with their "billing" department and the amount they showed I owe is even more than what was presented to me in the beginning along with their venmo account for me to send the payment. The documents show charges for more visits than I attended, and I asked them to clarify this and provide thorough details as all their words have been nothing but ambiguous. I have yet to get a response.
