I got a quick appointment time for the fact the weather had just chilled. Kenneth came out and took a quick look at the chimney and said it didn't need to be cleaned, just inspected. Kenneth went on the roof and spent some time up there checking it out. I was told it looked good and to start with a duraflame type log to make sure the smoke went where it was supposed to. It was stressed to me that if the smoke entered the home, I should only open the front door and nothing else, in order to draw the smoke up the chimney. Finally, I was told it was recommended to have a cleaning and inspection every 20-30 fires. I couldn't be more pleased with the honesty, integrity, and thoroughness of Pickwick Chimney Sweeps.
