I wish I could give more stars... Called on a Saturday morning, answered on the second ring. Rufus was at my house in 30 minutes, no fee to show up and look at the problem. We talked about the problem, he gave me an estimate of time, and got right to work. Great work, fair price, and timely communication... what more could you ask for. read more

Rufus installed the plumbing and septic tank for a tiny home for a family member and did an excellent job. Very friendly, helpful, honest, and a hard worker. He was very quick to respond and help. I would definitely recommend Ducor plumbing. Thanks again Rufus. read more

Great service! Prompt and efficient. Great value. Kind people. Done right and done in timely manner.

Rufus is our go-to plumber. Reliable, knowledgeable, a man of integrity. Highly recommend! He's helped us with some very challenging issues with our sewer ejector pump. read more

I called a bunch of plumbers for my clogged kitchen sink and Rufus and his partner Hasting, not only called me back right away, but rearranged their day so they could meet me after work. Rufus and Hasting were so respectful of my home, taking off shoes and giving me a clear explanation of what they thought the issue may be. They put down drop cloths and worked quickly and efficiently. In under an hour Rufus and Hasting were finished and demonstrated the now working kitchen sink. They were so friendly, kind and helpful. I paid exactly what I was quoted and was thrilled. I am keeping their number for any future emergencies. It's so comforting to have a good and decent plumber! read more

Not recommended! Had him out to clear the main sewer line (VERY pricey for his slightly more than 1 hour of work). After he was gone I found my tile floor permanently scratched. Then, over the course of the following weeks, the toilet began leaking underneath. I took it off to see if I could fix it and found the old wax ring had been left on. Very shoddy work. read more

Ducor Plumbing - Plumbing Near Me - San Rafael, California

Responsive, friendly and very helpful in explaining the work that needs to be done. Will use again in the future.

I am so grateful that a friend recommended Ducor Plumbing to me. Having them work on our house was a wonderful experience. I had been told by other workers who had gone into the crawl space that we needed a lot of pipes replaced soon and secured better. Hasting and his nephew Rufus worked together. They explained patiently and thoroughly the work to be done, and showed me pictures; they submitted a written bid exactly when they said they would (which was prompt); they came to work when they said; and I could tell they were working hard and well. Yesterday, Rufus accompanied me in our crawl space to show me the work they did and to explain to me how plumbing systems work. That was an awesome experience! For me, working with Ducor went beyond the high-quality work and communication, as well as what I think is exceptionally reasonable pricing: As someone ignorant about house repairs, I find it difficult to trust service providers; but I felt I could trust Hasting and Rufus, and I found their work and integrity so exceptional that it makes my world feel like a better place. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Ducor Plumbing! We needed to get a new water heater installed and reached out to Ducor based on a neighbor's recommendation. And we're so glad we did. Rufus and Hastings came out to our home, arrived on time, and provided an estimate in a timely fashion. Upon approval, Rufus worked with the city to secure a permit, and quickly put us on calendar for the install. It wasn't an easy install because we were moving the placement of the heater in the garage, which required re-running the hot/cold pipes and gas. This meant Rufus had to navigate our shallow crawl space several times to get all the water and gas pipes capped and the news ones installed. Rufus and team were pleasant the entire time, very efficient, and got the job done in a day. Upon inspection, there were only a few minor corrections with the inspector commenting what a great job Ducor did. We're so happy we went with Ducor and have since brought them in for other plumbing needs. read more

We had a major backup in our downstairs bathroom and laundry room on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. We have worked with Ducor plumbing for many years and while Hastings was not available his partner, Rufus, was at our place within an hours. Ultimately, he cleaned out our sewer drain all the way to the sewer lateral, tested the drain was properly flowing, and replaced the gasket wax seal on the toilet. Given that this was an emergency and on a holiday weekend, I was extremely pleased with the Rufus's response, diagnosis, solution and very fair price. Nearly a month later toliet and drains are working just fine. Highly recommend Rufus and Ducor Plumbing. read more

Were able to come out on short notice. Did not / were not able to do any work the first day, as they said they would do. Came the next day. I would not hire this company for anything besides entirely straightforward clogged drains or other plumbing lines that are clogged. I needed help troubleshooting a French drain and the reality was that Hasting and his son couldn't or didn't follow what I was proposing, even with diagrams. The minute I started talking things that were elementary engineering and trouble shooting, Hastings started talking over me, pulled out his phone and called HQ, declaring that that would be more money. Both of them 100% ignored everything I was saying, whether it was because I'm female or they didn't understand or didn't want to understand, I don't know. It was a really big waste of $750 and I regret hiring them. read more

Hastings came to our rescue during an emergency plumbing situation, pipe clogged with roots, he came on the weekend, all toliets and showers backed up. Hasting was responsive on a Sunday afternoon after a plumbing emergency. We shut our water main off due to a broken outside pipe. After calling several of the 24 hour plumbing services and getting recordings, Hasting came through! Highly recommend him. read more

I have used Ducor plumbing three separate times now and I couldn't be more pleased with the price and service. Hasting (owner) always answers his phone and every time I've called he has come out that same day. Twice within the hour! He has replaced our faucet, responded to an emergency water leak (advising my wife over the phone at 11pm on what steps to take) and just recently came out because our water heater stopped working. I called at 5 and he came out within an hour. He is a very kind and responsive plumber. If I could give him 6 stars, I would. read more

We called Hasting at Ducor Plumbing on a Saturday because we had broken pipes on both sides of our older home in San Rafael and we had to turn off the water entirely for two days. He came out the same day to look at the job and give us an estimate and returned on Sunday prepared to fix it. He did a great job, and I would recommend him highly. He is friendly, efficient and willing to work in the rain on a Sunday to get our water going again. Hasting was like a miracle worker. I called a bunch of other plumbers and no one answered the phone on the weekend even when they advertise that they're open on Saturday. Hasting is reliable and a hard worker. I will call him whenever we have a plumbing problem from now on. read more

After calling all the big plumbing companies and nobody being able commit to come out for an urgent job, I called Ducor Plumbing about an emergency pipe clog on a Saturday afternoon. Hasting and his son were here within the hour. They resolved the issue quickly and professionally. Thanks so much for your quick response! read more

Terrific! Fast, professional! We have used them twice in emergency situations, both times they have been great! Highly recommended.

Hastings has saved me so many times. He is honest and way beyond fair. In fact the first time he did work for me (installed a new water heater) I paid him more than what he asked for because he went above and beyond what any other plumber would do. He also fixed a gas leak in my house when PG&E turned off my gas. It was tricky but he found it and fixed it. He called me several times to make sure it was truly fixed. He always responds quickly, and as a single woman, I totally trust him. He is as honest and trustworthy as they come. I highly recommend him! read more

Quick and courteous. My issue was more of a drywall problem so he referred me to someone that can help.

Great plumber! We had a broken pipe at 10:30 Sunday night. Mr. Ducor arrived within 45 minutes. He shut off the water supply to the house and came back first thing Monday morning to do the repair. Well done and reasonably priced. Highly recommended and will use in the future. read more

We have a newborn and on a Saturday night we had a minor plumbing emergency. Hasting answered the phone right away, and was able to come out promptly. He's honest (he told me it was a simple job I could probably fix myself next time) and easy to work with. I highly recommend him and plan to work with him again next time I need plumbing help. read more

The day after Christmas this year (2016) had a really grungy clogged double kitchen sink. I called Ducor Plumbing and Hasting came out quickly, and quickly unclogged both sinks. Prompt, professional, pleasant and very reasonable. I have an old funky house and appreciated there was no attempt to upsell me new fixtures. Getting ready to call him again for some other work and realized had forgotten to write this review... Wish there were more stars to give! read more

I rarely write reviews but this plumber, this plumbing business is the spot on THE BEST. Hastings and his son have come to my house 4 times over the past 7 years I have owned this old home with old pipes. He is prompt, courteous, honest, professional and reasonable. He always tells me what is going on, what the good news is and if there is bad news - but he can fix it. His son works with him and he is just the same, hard working professional young man. Today is a Sunday and my sewer lateral backed up last night. But thanks to Hastings' prompt answering of my call and his Sunday hours, My lateral is cleared! I have the utmost faith in Ducor plumbing. I won't use anyone else. read more
