It wasn't the most flavourful stew, but I think the point of this stew is to be hearty and classic rather than unique / bursting with spices. I never showered during my stay though because once my hair would get wet there would be no way for me to warm back up again. It is a heavenly sugar bomb that is exclusive to Thunder Bay. Local Thunder Bay diners will also serve a toasted persian as well, where they cut it in half lengthwise and cook it on a grill, "grilled cheese sandwich" style. There are a few places where you can get persians, but Persian Man is one of the better places. It's location is off Balmoral, and it is definately worth the trip for a little piece of heaven on earth.

I was not a big fan of the sausage but really enjoyed the toast which was nice and buttery and ofc the potatoes. This place is very reasonably priced, and for the price the portion is really big, which is awesome!
