Service was really fast and server was pleasant. Ambiance was modern and clean. I had the Biggie breakfast sandwich. It was underwhelming & lacking flavour. It was served dry. Perhaps it needed a bit of mayo. The tomatoes on it were very small and didn't cover the sandwich. The lettuce that is used was iceberg and did t do much for the flavour of the sandwich. Perhaps they should use green leaf lettuce instead. The eggs were hard and had clear crispy edges from overcooking the whites. I asked for basted medium but I was given over hard broken yoked eggs. I wouldn't order this again. My daughter says her steak and basted soft egg breakfast was good. read more

It was a great place! I got the fried (cheese) ravioli, the Signature Salad, Chicken Parmigiana, and a brownie with hot fudge and vanilla ice cream (not pictured). The server was super friendly and accommodating and the food was very good!! I was really glad I stopped!! (And, I got enough to take some with me so I had some food to warm up while camping nearby--way better than what I'd be cooking on my own!) read more

We traveled most of the day, stopping for hikes along the way. In other words we were hungry. Enjoyed the wonderful warm bread with butter & olive oil. I tried pasta dish which was tasty. Meal was paced well read more

What a wonderful surprise this was. Stopped for gas with my 3 friends as we motorcycled the eastern states and up into Canada. Hungry, we looked at yelp for suggestions and decided just to stay put as Drifters was attached to the station. THE BEST BURGER I EVER ATE!!. OMG, it was so good!. I'm 70 and have had a lot of burgers in my life so to stay this was my top #1......well if you are there, please stop and eat. Great place! read more

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Drifters. It isn't much to look at from the outside. It's attached to a motel and there's a gas station out front. But don't let that dissuade you. Service was attentive and quick. And both our dinners were very well done. Anytime you can find a small-town restaurant that serves something beyond bar food is a real treat. Tonight's special was an all-you-can-eat pasta bar. Many patrons ordered that and they all seemed pleased. I ordered the Salisbury steak. It came topped with onions, and sides of green beans and mashed potatoes. It was quite good. And my husband's burger was delicious. We will stop here again when we pass thru on future trips. read more

Staff is friendly, food is decent. It's probably one of the few food options in town. It's a diner with a gas station and motel attached. The place is clean, the food is fresh and what you see is pretty much what you get. No complaints, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Arrived there on a packed Friday evening around 5 pm and all tables were taken due too a festival in town and some wedding that had brought in boatloads of people into this little village The owners sisters greeted us and was apologetic that she could not sit us and that it would probably be a 45 minute wait. She looked around in the dining room,further assessed the situation and by the status of some of the guest tables etc she deduced that she may very well be able to seat us quicker. Sure enough we were seated in 15 Minutes or so. The rest as they say is history. Good menu/good food/good service/fair pricing. All of this monitored by this very special lady made for a very enjoyable meal that my wife and I enjoyed. If ever in the neighborhood make a point to drop by this place. What makes this place even more remarkable is the Way they treat their guest. There are very few options and that would lead some to believe that a restaurant would not necessarily have to go out of their way the way they and this lady did. I'm going to give this place a 1 because they don't let you give a zero. Why?? We get there on a Saturday afternoon around 5:30 and even though on line they say they are open on Saturday until 10 pm, there is a paper sign saying they decided to close for the entire weekend. Who the heck does this and stays in business. Basic business 101 says you stay open as much as possible for customers so you can freakin make money and stay in business. You should also stick with your posted business hours. Don't know if the food is good because they decided on a whim to just close up for a few days for no reason other than poor work ethic. read more

Wow. I can't write too much about this place because there's not much to say about it - good or bad...if I'm trying to stay polite. All the food was terrible that we ordered - a salad and a pizza...how do you screw that up? I don't know. Maybe using canned oranges on salad? It took 10 minutes to get noticed, 10 more for a drink and then nearly 30 to put in an order. Because we were SO hungry and if you're traveling there you'll know there aren't a lot of options, we waited it out. Should have starved instead. Thank Broccoli we won't be driving through Ontario ever again. If we do, I'd rather egg this place than eat at it. read more

Food is ok, but the location is practical. They open early and close late. Not a bad stop if you are just driveing through.

Nice restaurant. A little dark inside. But nice service. And regular menu with sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc.

It depends what you order. Salmon was tasty, , skirt steak and chicken cutlets were dry and tough. Baked clams were filled with bread.

Decent little restaurant. Food is good. Not anything special but good. Beer selection is a little limited but again, for a basic meal and a beer while traveling, this place had a decent variety and good quality. I had the BBQ chicken flatbread and a couple Labatt's Blue. Service was very friendly and helpful. Food was decent and prices reasonable. Overall not a bad place to eat. read more

clean, friendly and delicious Stopped here after passing a pile of sketchy and/or dirty restaurants along highway 17 after a long drive from Winnipeg. This place has a cute little patio with good seating, heating and a fireplace (although it was raining when we arrived). Our server was friendly, and accommodating. The place is owned by an Italian family, and makes most (if not everything) homemade. They served home made bread on the table and the pasta in my seafood linguine was also homemade (and delicious). My grandparents both ordered a breaded pickerel dinner which they both loved. This place is truly a notch above the local fare. Will definitely stop here on my next drive through. read more

Not many options in Terrace Bay for eating. They have a couple commercial beers on tap and it looks like they might have a nice patio, it was raining when I went. Interior is alright, somewhat modern. Service is not that good, waitress wasn't rude or anything, just not very attentive and seemed overwhelmed, yet there weren't many people in the restaurant. I was there for the all you can eat ribs. I am going to stop ordering ribs from restaurants who obviously don't specialize in the fare. Not sure how they are cooking them, seemed baked in an oven likely, anyways they are not good. Started with the mussels in tomato sauce. Yes tomato sauce, this makes no sense and is a waste of money for the restaurant. You could get the same effect from lemon as you get with the acidity of tomatoes for way cheaper and it would taste way better. Can't lose with butter or olive oil, garlic and lemon. So easy so good. Save the tomato sauce for pasta. Menu needs to be overhauled here. read more
