When issues arise, as can often happen, I've always found him to be open to discussion and very fair minded. Rick Silva of Utah Appraisals came to my home because a realtor called him to get a value on our…read moreplace. We didn't really have any comparables because of the uniqueness of our place. I told him I needed to know how much the rear of our property would be worth if it was split off into a lot having the ease of access with curb and gutter and utilities already running right next to it. He said for $300 more he would do a deep dive into it to see the value of the potential lot. He spent a total of maybe twenty minutes at our home. A couple of days later I got an email of the appraisal and no printed paperwork. His so called deep dive just included recent sales of subdividable properties that I was already fully aware because they were easily brought up on the internet with just a simple search which told me nothing. He charged me $900 for what I feel he spent probably and hour on the internet and twenty minutes at our home. When I complained about it he told me he would have to spent a lot more time on it to give me what I needed to know. If he wasn't going to do more than just review recent sales that I already knew of that were not at all similar to our property why did he take my extra $300? I also would of had to print this appraisal up myself since it was just sent in an email, which I didn't because it was useless to me. I feel I just looked like an easy mark.

I took my earring to Jonathan's Jewelry as my Mother recommended this establishment. I had a really great experience in the store as I was instantly greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome. I was then approached for help and I had a nice conversation with the man helping me (I am assuming this was Jonathan) It is very rare that I go somewhere for help anymore and the employee seems happy to be there and willing to help me. And I enjoyed conversing with the man helping me as opposed to just standing there in silence. Anyways, very happy with my experience AND the results of my earring. It's good as new and the cost was very affordable. Much less than I had expected. I would highly recommend Jonathan's Jewelry to anyone looking for jewelry, or a repair. :) Thank you!

I'm in town for the weekend working and my Casio watch stopped working on the flight in yesterday…read more I hoped it was just a battery issue and walked to AAA Jewelers from the hotel nearby to get it fixed. One of the jewelers behind the glass asked to have a look at it and said that they normally don't do the fix I needed but thought he could help. He replaced the battery, it works fine, and he wouldn't take my money for the battery or his time. Random acts of kindness like that, especially when they aren't expected are a rare thing nowadays. He said he was "feeling good" today... I will pay it forward - thank you guys.

Aaron switched the 3 quality Sapphires for very poor quality. They admitted they get their own Sapphires from Montana and facet them, which means they cut the stones themselves. I could tell they had been switched because the middle one was a little bit of a different color and when I picked up the necklace they were all the same color. Do not trust this store.
