They're affordable, let you know about other service recommendations without pressuring you, take the time to explain why you may need other services, and the waiting area is clean and welcoming. While you wait, there's usually cold water and some candy in the waiting room. They are usually pretty fast with getting your service done and I'm just now seeing they have specials as well! There were also several people that walked in while I was waiting asking for things and they are honest when they can't/don't have the supplies to execute a service. Really nice people!

Talk about feeling uncomfortable and feeling ripped off, let me share it. On May 13th, I took my…read moretruck there for an A/C leak and after $100 I was told there were no issues found. They had replaced the refrigerant and I was good to go but if the A/C went out again to bring it back. On June 3rd, my A/C stopped working again so I took it back to them. When I arrived to drop it off I was wearing my Army PT shorts and the front desk lady came closer, looked me up and down and said: "Look at those legs! I'm glad it's warm outside and that's right, I got no shame." I'm glad my wife wasn't there, cause it would probably have gotten ugly. Anyone would feel flattered with a compliment, but that felt completely out of place and wrong. Now imagine the opposite, I'm the one behind the counter and say that to a lady coming in as a customer? Later on, Bob called me and explained the Condenser was bad and it would cost $775 to replace it. I told him I would have to wait to get it fixed. He charged me again $50 this time which to my surprise would not be counted against the $775 if I brought it back to them. I just got off the phone with Auto Zone and they have a brand new Condenser for $120 w/ lifetime warranty. Called another shop and they can replace it for a fraction of the cost. Best of luck to anyone bringing your vehicle there.

I would not recommend Brakes n Axels. I brought my vehicle in multiple times for the exact same…read moreissue, and instead of properly diagnosing the problem, they kept replacing parts and billing me each time while the issue continued. It felt more like guesswork than competent repair work. I eventually took the vehicle to another mechanic, who quickly identified the actual root cause and repaired it for a fraction of the cost I had already spent at this shop. To make matters worse, the second mechanic also found defective work from Brakes n Axels that is now causing additional issues. Paying repeatedly for unsuccessful repairs is frustrating enough, but finding out that previous work was poorly done makes it even worse. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. I also found out that they charged me for a job that they never did and when I confronted them, they got very rude and told me see you in court crazy how they went there, but I guess that's what we will do then do not trust these people. They will charge you for things that they do not do.
