My spouse and myself left feeling like this was the right choice for our legal counsel. Not having Larry, who has an innate ability for details coupled with many years of experience; I don't feel we would have been able to secure the same outcome. Thid law group, law firm, or whatever it is they call themselves, needs to work on better…read morecommunication at the very least. It is no wonder they are poorly rated. Nobody seems to have any sense of urgency with getting back to potential clients. There is also a major lack of coverage in my area it seems. I initially spoke with someone by the name of Sareya, and they never called me back as promised, and didnt return my follow up calls. I then began dealing with a gentleman named Jeremiah, who also displayed poor responsiveness to follow up calls and text messages. After my initial call with Jeremiah on May 11th, he was unresponsive to follow up calls and text messages, and did not bother to get back to me until May 21st for my scheduled legal strategy sesssion. While he did send one brief message to follow up with me and confirm I spoke with the attorney as scheduled, he then called requesting to set up a time to discuss matters further, but never made contact to actually schedule said call. It was not until over a month later that he bothered to send a text asking if I still needed help with my case. When I requested an additional strategy session so I could get some legal questions answered, he stated that would be possible. I expected some sort of response to schedule, but Jeremiah never replied further to schedule the session. It was not until over another month had passed that I received a very generic email stating that they do not have an available attorney at this time and can not take my case. This company seems to have a consistent over promise and under deliver strategy. Not very good business if you ask me.

***A costly mistake. Marble's model shields lazy lawyers and offers zero accountability.***…read more I chose Marble.co hoping for a convenient online legal experience, but it turned into a massive headache that jeopardized my case and cost me thousands. The Attorney Experience: My assigned lawyer was nearly impossible to reach, taking weeks just to schedule an initial meeting. For a straightforward, uncontested divorce with no children, no 401ks, and a clear division of assets (house and cars), his strategy was minimal. When my ex-wife delayed signing the simple waiver and eventually retained her own counsel, my lawyer completely vanished. He refused to schedule a call with her attorney, leaving me stranded and stressed. I constantly had to deal with his paralegal, who only provided sparse, unhelpful answers. Marble's Complete Lack of Accountability: To make matters worse, the attorney marked my case as "closed" without setting up the next phase or finishing the job, effectively abandoning me while remaining the retained lawyer of record. When I contacted Marble to complain, they shielded the attorney, stating there was no recourse or refund because he had marked the case complete. The Outcome: After two months of zero progress and immense stress due to this lawyer's laziness, I had to spend another $3,500 out-of-pocket to hire an independent attorney. The new lawyer will be able to finish everything in just a couple of weeks. I have officially reported this attorney to the State Bar. Do not be fooled by Marble's promise of "online convenience." It is an expensive inconvenience that leaves you unprotected. Steer clear.

With that said, while I wasn't a fan of different people handling my case, the settlement process was pretty smooth. After complaining, I was transferred to the settlement manager, Danny. He was the most attentive person there and gave me personal assurances on the moving of my claim. He and his assistant, April, always answered the phone and was willing to help. That communication alone really helped my confidence in this firm. Carl Saontz did a good job with my settlement and I'm happy that my bills were paid, my car was fixed and I got a good amount in my pocket. I recommend this firm. They know what they're doing.

This is a pattern we've observed over multiple clients that this attorney was supposed to represent. This attorney requested to work with our platform at OffTheRecord.com. We vetted him and there were no red flags. We proceeded to send him a number of leads for clients. Those clients informed us that attorney Singleton Matthews neglected to represent them in court and cuts off all communications once funds are transferred. We also called the courts to verify this information. This has resulted in clients having their licenses suspended and fines increased. We are in the process of filing a grievance with the Maryland State Bar against this attorney on behalf of a handful of clients. If you have been misrepresented by this attorney, please reach out to us. We highly advise all clients to avoid this attorney.
