This was not the case when I originally switched to her as my primary care. Dr. Teng also charges for phone appointments which I guess is something new. I had a sleep study done and was told I needed an appointment to go over the results. I told Angela just send me my results. I don't need someone to read it to me for a co-pay. I called today to get scheduled for my free annual physical and Angela made a point to say "Doctor will not be filling or renewing any prescriptions or discussing and other concerns." I should be able to discuss topics with my doctor during my visit. Due to lack of availability and front desk staff being rude I will find a new Doctor as I was also told.

I didn't get her name, but she made my visit calming and I truly felt valued because of her. Unfortunately, the MA made me feel less than. When I asked her to look up past medical information related to why I was there, she kept reading off my missed appointments or no‑shows instead of answering my actual questions. I ended up having to pull up my app myself to find the information I needed. When I asked about a specific medication to help with pain, she dismissed it immediately and told me the doctor would not prescribe it. This is not the level of compassion or level of care I have come to experience from Sutter over the years. The doctor, however, was straightforward, proactive, and thoughtful. He answered all my questions, explained what he was doing, and referred me to a specialist. He made sure I understood my next steps. Overall, the 1‑star rating is due to the MA interaction. This wasn't my primary physician, it was a last‑minute appointment Sutter scheduled to get me immediate care and it made me appreciate my primary physician 100x more.

I convinced him to switch insurance carriers, if he didn't like our new insurance through United HealthCare we would switch back during open enrollment the following plan year. The first time we went to meet Dr. Worley, he genuinely interested in our health and us as people. My husband was cautious in believing he was as good as he appeared (lol). Not only is genuine he's down to earth. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and answers your questions, no matter how trivial or crazy they may sound. Dr. Worley, tackles each issue head on. He discusses which item needs to go to the top of the list and works his way through each concern/issue. He ordered labs back in January for me. With COVID I decided to wait (I'm not a fan of needles and bloodwork, so I thought COVID was a great excuse to put my lab work off). Not a great reason trust me... Anyway, I went to see Dr. Worley recently. He reviewed my records and reminded me that I hadn't done my labs that were placed back in January. Ohhh, I was busted.
