Quality of work is solid. He did a great job at fixing the drywall holes the plumber put in. The concerns I have is he was 30min late on both days. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but I had a huge plumbing problem emergency and tenets were moving in the next day. I think they were delayed because their texture machine wasn't working which isn't their fault, and I also gave them the wrong paint color, but none of that was communicated. The next morning I got the right color so they could start early, before the new tenets arrived, they said 10:15-10:30 I informed them that new people were moving in at 11. Everyone arrived at 11 and it was chaotic. My other gripe is the estimate/invoice system. I was given an estimate with some extra projects. I ended up declining the sink and bathtub repair. I asked him for the new price and he said $850. I handed him $860 in cash because I didn't have a change and asked him to send me a new invoice. Several days later he sent me the invoice for $800. I have asked him several times over the past couple of days to send me the new invoice with the total paid to the correct number and I have had no response. Communication is not necessarily their strong suit. So in the end, good work, but maybe not worth it if they are late and I have to repeatedly ask for the correct invoice. ****Update**** removed another star because it's been over a week and a half and I still have not gotten a refund or an updated invoice read more

Handyman DSV updated our fireplace and 3 of our bathroom vanities and they did a decent job at a fair and reasonable price. We were happy with the work that they did but we ended up running to issues and to no surprise, things took a turn. Initially, they were very easy to get in touch with. The main issue we had thereafter was in communication or lack thereof. They bailed last minute on one day and on another day just didn't show up at all. In fact when I called I got hung up on and then received a text message saying they wouldn't be able to make it due to car trouble. It was odd that we did not receive an invoice of any sort but we got busy and let it go. Fast forward one month, we ended up with a leak in our new vanity sink that penetrated through our downstairs ceiling and caused our kitchen light fixture to collapse. I did not blame them for the leak. I never did. They came immediately to take a look at it and said they would be back the next morning to fix it. When I asked what the payment breakdown would look like, I stated that we did not have a leak prior to the changing out of vanities. Legit and factual statement. At that point, they ghosted us. They didn't come the next day. They never replied to anymore of my texts. I texted that afternoon, the next afternoon and I haven't heard from them since. All I would have liked was to have had a conversation or the respect of a reply to discuss what happened. But how the situation was handled was on par with how things were handled throughout the project. Aside from poor communication, they lacked professionalism and we obviously will not be working with them again. read more

David and Alexis came to replace a very old toilet in my home. They were super fast to respond to my message and set up a time to do the work. They offered to come the very next day! We were a little worried hiring a handyman for the work because a pervious person came out and said the toilet is so old that maybe when he gets it off there will be more work to do underneath that will be out of his scope. When David came he was confident he could do the job and fix what ever needed adjusting for the new toilet. When I say old, I mean this toilet we had was from the 1960's in a cottage built in the 1920's! David and Alexis had no problem removing, bringing the pipe area up to standard to fit the new toilet and putting in a beautiful new toilet. They were fast, honest and clean! David did a great job fixing my front door and security screen door. He came on a Saturday to give me an estimate and by Monday at lunchtime, the project was done. My doors were becoming hard to close through wear and tear and old hardware and now they're like new. He reinstalled both doors, replaced one of the hinges, replaced the door frame and tightened the doorknobs. He even patched some holes in the frame and realigned the deadbolt. David did an EXCELLENT job of painting my entire condo from floor to ceiling including doors and trims, baseboards, and interior of closets. He used satin, semi-gloss, and flat paint in different areas with a different brush for each kind of paint. He was very organized, brought the right tools, covered all the floors, cleaned baseboards and doors before painting. He pulled the wall electric plug covers and installed them back. There was not a single drop of paint anywhere after he was done. He left the condo in an immaculate condition. He gave the best estimate and did an excellent job for the price.
