On Christmas Eve we came home to water flooding our home. Immediately, we turned off the source of the leak and accessed the damage. Christmas presents soaked in their wrappings, rugs heavy with water, our wood floors already starting to twist. We had a waterfall effect on our stairs, water pouring into the basement through the ceiling and down the walls. My husband googled to find a restoration company, and I got to work sopping up the water I could. Despite the holiday, Drymedic had a team of men over within no time, including the owner. They quickly got to work extracting all the water they could by hand. The team spent hours that night taking measurements, setting up equipment, and trying to save our damaged things. We appreciated that these guys left their families to help us when we needed it most - staying with us until roughly 3am Christmas morning. The next step was removing drywall and molding as well as venting area to assist in the drying process. Every step of the way staff made sure to keep messes to a minimum cleaning as they worked. When all the water was removed and their part in the job was completed staff cleaned the floors again with a anti microbial cleaner. The staff followed the process of the job through to the end. Second floor bathroom caused damage to our main floor area late June 2025. I reached out to my insurance company and they had Drymedic reach out. The mitigation team did a great job removing damaged floors and walls and started the drying out process. About 2 weeks later after requesting things to get moving a estimate was performed and a few days after that the reconstruction program manager came by for about a hour answered some of our questions and said he would have the flooring and painting team reach out to me in the day or so. I sent information on some items that were on sale we would like have ordered to be installed in our master bath and to get them purchased. Those items were drop shipped a few weeks later. After numerous text and calls over a 3 week period no one else reached out to me. I shared my disappointment and reached out for the Director of construction to reach out to me with no return calls or emails. I even reached to others with the company to relay the message with no response after doing that. So I terminated Drymedic and had another contractor get started. Of course once I terminated their service, I was reached out to by Drymedic. I asked for the invoice for the vanity and faucets I had preordered so I could provide that to my insurance company for payment. Nothing was provided and I was told I would be billed. During reconstruction I also used the Drymedic pack out team for all of my contents. All of our belongings were packed and stored at their warehouse during the remodel of our home. At this point I was still willing to use their other services. Construction was completed about a month later by new contractors and all of my furnishings were brought back and unpacked by the Drymedic moving team. Insurance paid all of the fees for the Mitigation, Pack out, Storage return of my items. Contruction fees for the new contractors I had to hire. Forward to almost 4 months later I was just issued a final bill from DRYmedic for the vanity and faucets along with a bill based on 10% of written estimate charge of the whole construction job they previously quoted. I was told if I did not pay the bill it would be turned over to collections. read more

I had a pipe come apart, and the water leaked into the ceiling in the lower level. My insurance company sent a remediation company to remove wet & damaged drywall and flooring. Drymedic contacted me because my agent gave them my phone number. I needed them for the rebuild. They sent a man out and he seemed real helpful. He took all the information and pictures and said they would contact me once everything was reviewed. I waited a week and then tried to find out what was going on. I sent emails, text, and voice mail messages. I received no call back, email or text. So, I waited till the next Monday and ended up calling another company. I can't tell you what kind of work they do. All they had to do is send me a text, saying they couldn't do the work. It's unacceptable to leave someone hanging. read more

They say they are installers of sump pumps. But in reality they don't know much about them don't waste your time or money

My basement had mold from a leak. Also, other areas of my basement showed mold problems. Since we had recently moved into our home we had little history to share with DRYmedic. I hired DRYmedic because of very favorable reviews on Yelp and because the company was close to my home in Sylvan Lake, MI. The insurance company hired a microbiologist to do testing as to mold elimination. He was expensive for DRYmedic and probably unnecessary. ($400, which DRYmedic paid 3 times). When all the work was completed we were very happy with the owner and his wonderful crew. They were absolutely professional. They were sincerely kind and helpful. I was satisfied beyond any expectations I had when discovering the water damage. I found the company team a rarity in today's age of get in, get out, get the money. Vincent, the owner, is very patient when things get tough. He honors the customer, and completes his work efficiently. He left us very happy customers. read more

Our basement flooded on a Friday when we had heavy rain and our sump pump burned out, but I didn't find out until Wednesday when I went downstairs. The carpet was soaked from one end to the other, and we needed professional help. I contacted WaterWork Plumbing to install a new sump pump, they did an excellent job, and recommended DryMedic to restore the basement damage. I contacted Shawn and got an appointment at 9am the next morning. He was running late due to a 4am emergency call but he kept texting me with updates until he got to our house. Shawn was very swift and professional, once he got to us he set everything up with his technician and gave us an estimate at $2500 to save the basement, with the understanding that we didn't know all the work needed. His technician Joe showed up shortly and did all the demo needed, he was SUPER FAST and communicated on what he did and why. Joe was our go-to over the next few days as they ran fans and dehumidifiers in the basement for four days and Joe checked in every day. On day four Joe told us we were 100% dry. He removed their equipment and connected me with Shawn who quoted me our final cost - $1750! We were so far below initial projection we were ecstatic. Joe also gave us recommendations for people to repair the few things that needed to be put back in our basement. I was so happy with DryMedic, with Shawn and with Joe. They saved our basement, they saved our house, they saved us money. I'd call them again and I'd recommend them to anyone. These guys are amazing! read more

An excellent company. A sewer collapse the day after Christmas filled our basement with raw sewage. Dry Medic worried directly with our insurance company, made the whole process so much easier. Everything was removed, stored, cleaned. They were all so nice - really understood the trauma we were going through. And they treated my son with autism ( who was understandably freaked out by the whole experience) with patience and respect. I hope I never have to use them again, but if I do, I know who I'll call! read more

In the after math of the Michigan Big Flood of 2014 it was impossible to get any of the bigger or more well known restoration companies out to my house to have my basement cleaned out. Some companies I couldn't get on the phone. I decided to take a risk with the unknown Dry Medic and was pleased with my choice. I was able to get Shawn the owner on the phone right away, and he was able to come out on the same day and assess my damage. A day or two after that he had his crew out cleaning up our basement and setting up the fans and dehumidifiers. Once that was all done he provided us with a detailed pdf of the invoice the highlighted all of the work they done and included pictures with the water readings and everything. Very helpful for when dealing with the insurance company. The price also seemed very fair compared to previous water mitigation I've had done elsewhere. I hope to never need their services again but if something were to happen I'd gladly give Shawn a call again. read more

Reconsider hiring this company. My experience with them from start to finish was a complete and utter nightmare. I had a refrigerator leak and had some extensive damage done to my flooring. I called Drymedic to come out and do the drying. Initially, I was very impressed with the project manager, Jerry, and with their quick response time. However, things went down quickly after the job started. Although they had me sign a mold waiver, I repeatedly asked if I should get the area tested for mold. Jerry informed me it was not mold, but merely tar paper staining my floors. I asked him if we should have the tile removed. He again told me no and seemed to lose patience with me, and said "This was billed as a water claim, not a mold claim." He finished the job and assured me I had no mold and that my floors were dry. A week later, I had a restoration company come out to begin the process of restoring my home. This company would not move forward until I had a mold clearance. I contacted another water mitigation company who came out to look at my flooring. I was told my flooring was still wet and that I had a mold issue. I immediately contacted DryMedic to let them know the floors were wet and I had mold. The owner personally contacted me and told me that he would send someone out and that he would also personally meet with me on Friday. He came out to test my floor and again told me that the floors were dry. Since the insurance had received conflicting reports (one company said they were wet and DryMedic stated they were dry), a third company came out. This company stated that my floors are indeed still WET. So, I have basically been without a kitchen floor or dining room floor for over a month. They billed my insurance for thousands of dollars, and the problem STILL isn't fixed. In fact, things have probably gotten worse with my floor staying wet now for over a month. If I didn't have a mold growth issue a month ago, I am certain I do now. Oh, and the owner that promised he would come out on Friday to personally speak to me to make things right? Yeah, he didn't show up. I'm completely disgusted. read more

We just purchased our home and found out we had mold in the basement :( as you can imagine not what we wanted to hear! Ben from Dry Medic was so helpful and knowledgeable he assured us that all the mold would be cleaned and removed from the basement. He kept us informed along the way and something that I thought was a going to be a nightmare was over in a week, all of the employees were very nice and courteous they showed up on time and cleaned up after their selves.
