They offer $30 WOF services and specialise in vehicle servicing, tyres, upholstery, electrical repairs, rust repairs, brake and clutch repairs, and suspension. Although the premise looks a little run down, don't let that put you off. After servicing your vehicle they give the exterior a spray down, giving it back looking nice and shiny and new. But like going to any mechanic, make sure you call them up and get a quote before booking in. The staff were efficient, polite, and charged very competitively. They fitted all the tyres and wheel-balanced the car while I got the groceries over the road at Pak n Save. The staff also noticed and fixed a slow-leak puncture, and washed and polished the tyres so they looked all nice for me as I drove off. What's more, they said I could come back any time for free, and they'd check the tyres were wearing okay and keeping their pressure fine too. I really couldn't ask for more. Scott and Sharn are the two main mechanics at St Luke's and though they may not be the smiley-est of people, they are both really friendly, extremely thorough and full of good advice. I'd take helpful mechanics over a smile any day! Recently we had trouble getting a registration for my boyfriend's car and Sharn helped us figure out why it was happening and get it all sorted, even though it wasn't anything to do with St Luke's Tyre and Mechanical - they're just good guys. The boys at VTNZ advised that I won't get a sticker unless I replace my two rear tyres, so they had me by the short and curlies. No running away from this one, I decided to go to the first place I could find, and that was Megatyre down the road. The guys very quickly replaced the old worn tyres, and quickly fitted two brand new beauties. I was back on the road with WOF on the window and sporting a smile; plus the price was more than reasonable.

My partner took our car in to get our tires changed at Eden Tyres this morning. We got in for an…read moreappointment super quick, and the service was really fast as well. It took just over an hour for three new tires to be put on and have an alignment done. He took it for a test drive after the service was done and was pleased with the results. The shop is in good condition and easy to get to. The guy working there was nice enough. The only downside is that my partner said he could probably get the tires for much less on his own, but decided to just go here for convenience sake, since we are heading out on a road trip tomorrow. All in all, the service was smooth and we are happy with our new tires! Thanks Eden Tyres for making our lives a little easier :)
