This is probably my most favourite place in Brighton. I love everything about Eat Naked! Can I give…read moreit a 6 stars please? The lady that owns the business and who is responsible for making all of the food is extremely talented, friendly and down to earth. The food is exceptional, I've eaten here several times and its always consistently good too. What I also love is that even though its raw/clean eating food which is supposed to be the latest trend at the moment, where most places are cashing in, Eat Naked keep their prices reasonable. Its not a fad for them they really do live and breath it as a lifestyle. Their ethos is healthy should be affordable and not boring! They change their menu daily which is to be admired and you can see the menu online on their instagram account. Their clean treats are what dreams are made of. I regularly crave and dream about their snickers bar when I'm in London and count down the days until I can come here again to get one when I'm in Brighton. ITS THAT GOOD! They also do juice cleanses that you can pick up or I believe they can post out too. I can't say one negative thing about this place, its quite small so maybe more of a takeaway place but they still have some seating inside if you want to chill and have a coffee. I've currently sprained my ankle and can't walk, but I just can't go a day without some Eat Naked goodness so I've managed to track down a courier to collect it and bring it to me in my flat. That's how much I love this place! All I need now is for them to clone the store and drop it in London please so that I can visit every day!

I'd passed this little shop many a time on my wanders through the Lanes and never actually realised it was a juice shop. The exterior tricks you into thinking it's a sweet but grungy little health store, when in fact it is so much more... To a juicing newbie this place might be a bit intimidating - there are no big, clear menu signs or welcoming tables and chairs to sit down at - but don't let this put you off. The man that served me was very helpful and offered advice on what ingredients would go well with each other, so don't be afraid to ask for tips if you're unsure what to buy. The atmosphere is also very relaxed, so you can easily take your time to choose without feeling rushed or panicked. In terms of options, there are so many things to choose from. Not only can you personalise your own juice, picking from a mixable list of fruit and vegetables, you can add on things like wheatgrass and other extras to give yourself an added boost for the day. I'm no health buff, but it was clear than they stocked a vast range of healthy and energising ingredients to add into your juice, if you so pleased, so if you're looking for an extra energy buzz before the gym or a wake-up drink in the morning, then this is probably the place for you! I opted for an 'ABC juice' upon the man's recommendation: apple, beetroot and carrot, with added ginger and lime (my own personal request). It was veerrrry tasty - so fresh, with great flavours - and the large glass came to £4.30, which is really reasonable in my opinion. They even allowed me to pay on card for this, as it was over £4, which was very handy indeed. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed!! Great service, great juice and great atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and keep trying out new combinations!

The Guarana bar is a great place for all sorts of things…read more Firstly, as you would expect, it sells guarana, and you can get it in tablets, powder or drinks. They have seating there, so you can grab a guarana drink and hang out for a while - a good alternative to a coffee stop perhaps? They also sell other assorted natural supplements of various types. For those wanting something a little stronger, they sell a decent range of legal highs (both here and at some festivals, which they take a stall to). Speaking of festivals, they often sell tickets to local festivals and other events, and always have a good range of flyers and other information.

On this trip, in mid June 2025, we'd promised our American daughter a proper British "Cream Tea"…read more.. Somehow, we didn't expect to find it in Brighton, but this was the perfect place for it! After a long walk from Brighton Marina to the Pier, and a lot of shopping in The Lanes, we were ready for an Afternoon Tea! This Tea Shop is in the heart of "The Lanes", a picturesque location amidst brightly coloured shops, cafes and restaurants, in narrow, winding alleyways that make for a unique shopping area. It was lucky we went in at 4.30pm... They close at 5pm, but we were welcomed in as one of the last guests before they announced they were closed. It also meant we not only got a table, but the place started clearing out before we'd finished, so we ended up being the last customers, which was nice. It's a cute, cozy little tea shop, pretty on the outside and inside, with pictures of Brighton on the walls and an eclectic mixture of teapots, milk jugs and cups. It had been many years since I'd last had a "cream tea" and this didn't disappoint. We ordered some fruit scones and some plain scones (both were yummy but I recommend the fruit ones - the raisins & sultanas are really plump and juicy!). We also tried our scones both ways - cream then jam (the Devon way), and jam then cream (the Cornish way)... I'd been brought up the Devon way, but discovered the Cornish way is actually more to my liking! Both were yummy! We didn't buy any cakes, but the cakes (as well as the scones) are made fresh daily and looked delicious. And I must say, the tea itself was fresh and superior quality - loose leaf English breakfast, rather than bagged, really makes a difference. Our server was very sweet and friendly, and then, at the end, since we were the last customers, the shop owner came out to talk to us, and was super friendly and welcoming... She asked where we were from (always fun, as I'm British, but my husband and daughter are American). Despite it being the end of her day, she didn't rush us out at all, and enjoyed chatting with us. The whole thing was a delightful experience.

The place was packed on a super hot day in Brighton and the staff kept the place hopping. Enjoyed cucumber sandwiches and the most delicious scones and clotted cream. A true English tea house!
