The night we were there they had pulled pork, slider buns, baked beans, steamed hot dogs, chili, nachos, popcorn, fountain drinks & 3 alcohol drinks per person. The dining/gathering area is huge & done very well. The rooms are very nice & they pay special attention to cleanliness. Every employee at the front desk was extremely nice & helpful. This hotel is on the same street as the rental car lots so it was convenient to take the shuttle from the airport to get our car & this hotel is very close. There is also a White Castle 1/2 mile away! Also the parking is free & secure behind a gate using your room key to enter & exit. I would highly recommend this hotel!

General - I have never stayed at a Drury Inn before and I had heard good things about them so…read moredecided to give them a try on my last road trip with family. Location - This Drury was right next to the airport. Not much around the area since it is closer to the airport and surrounding by parking and other hotels. There is a gas station next door and a restaurant onsite but you don't need to venture far for food or fun when staying at a Drury. Rooms & Building - After staying at a couple Drury locations, you will notice that each one follows a similar pattern. Lots of seating in the lobby (which is great when getting food), nice size pool and hot tub areas, and sprawling complexes with additional seating nook found throughout. Our room was nice and comfy and easily fit our family of five. Amenities - This location had the smallest pool and hot tub area of the three Drury's we stayed at. Even still, the water was warm and the hot tub was hot. Parking was free and utilized a private lot. There was also an office center and a small convenience store to purchase items from. One of the main selling points for me was their free evening dinner and free breakfast. Oh, and I can't forget about the free popcorn in the lobby. Food - While staying here, you are able to take advantage of a free breakfast and dinner buffet. The breakfast layout is your standard hot/cold/continental buffet. Hot options include eggs, breakfast potatoes, breakfast meat, sausage gravy, and waffles. Continental options are available too such as yogurt, cereal, breakfast breads, fruit, etc. I have to say that Drury had the best biscuits I have ever had for a hotel's breakfast buffet. I ate so much biscuits and gravy here, ha! The dinner buffet was great. At first, I thought it would just be a great way to save some $$, even if it wasn't the most enjoyable but the food was actually satisfying and filling. The night we stayed at this location offered BBQ pulled pork, mac and cheese (which was soooo good), coleslaw, beans, hot dogs, nachos, soup and salad. Adults also get three free alcoholic drinks that include various cocktails, beer and wine. The kids can enjoy AYCD soda. Vibe - Easy going and super friendly staff. All the staff worked extra hard to make sure all of the guests were having a great stay, super cool to see. The hotel is definitely geared towards family but includes some nice higher-end touches like comfy seating areas, relaxing pool areas, and a decent size gym. With that being said, there will be a lot of kids running around but it wasn't as loud and crazy as I thought it would be. Reality vs. Online - Pictures that I saw on their website and online matched the quality and condition of the hotel and rooms in-person. No surprises. Price & Final Verdict - I paid about $135 a night. Great bang for your buck, especially when you included the free food and drinks that you can take advantage of. Drury's are a great place to pick if you want a casual all-inclusive experience while traveling, especially with kiddos.

And even though I was on a contracted rate, and have been each time I've stayed at that particular location, your staff never misses! The front desk was packed with about 4 staff all busy doing something. Two very fun and welcoming ladies checking us in, one other lady helping a lady with a lost item and one gentleman literally saying "welcome" to every single person that walked thru the door (which was tons since there was some convention going on). The chocolate treat we are always greeted with is a well known fact amongst flight attendants and they LOVE IT! Marissa took care of me at the bar and was an absolute delight. Even the housekeeping staff encountered that day working on the 3rd floor were just so pleasant and greeted me. I even overheard an employee who was getting off work become frustrated because her ride home had not left yet and as soon as she saw me walking down the hall, her entire demeanor changed, she smiled and said thanks for staying with us. I don't know what you're doing to keep this type of hospitality flowing thru the building, but please don't stop. As a titanium elite member, I can tell you this is mostly NOT the experience I have come to receive... it's hit or miss and depends on the staff members, but yours was just ONE TEAM!

I expected a lot of morning noise, but it wasn't bad. No noise through the night. The bed was VERY comfortable & the room clean. All of the artwork was removed, leaving hardware & wall damage in its place. Temp control worked well. Staff was friendly & breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. Big shower, high ceilings. Overall, a good stay. Noce layout & color scheme. Wish they'd maintain it better & with industrial grade materials. Samsung TVs, so, easy to connect to my phone.

We were supposed to be staying in Minneapolis & heading to St Louis Thursday, but decided to go on, after cancelations & delays. We booked upon landing & called for a shuttle after deplaning. It was 1145pm & I half expected to be told no shuttle, as it stops running at 12a. Imagine my delight when they said less than 10min! 5min later, we were in the shuttle (says Drury Inn) & on our way. The gal working at check-in was very friendly & welcoming. Check-in was fast & it wasn't our first stay, so, no need for much info. The room smells of cheap constructionmaterials, but also of sheets left in the washer too long, perhaps. The room was clean, but it's already looking battered. Pictures are gone off the walls, all of them. The brackets remain, along with lots of nail holes. The baseboards are broken & the toilet lid is about 30lbs with no soft close. It has potential. I love the high ceilings and color scheme. Our room had a large shower, no tub & the floor is carpeted. Comfy bed & adequate water pressure/ hot water. Hubs is Diamond Select & booked directly with BW, without points. No Upgrade but got drinks.

Booked at this hotel last minute as I was worried about getting to the airport during "Snowmageddon…read more2019". I was welcomed as an IHG member by a sign in the lobby by the registration desk. the room was well appointment and my highway facing room even had earplugs to block out the highway and/or airport noise (unless you're a light sleeper, if you're tired, you'll have no problems sleeping without the earplugs). Did not get a chance to try the breakfast as i was leaving at 530 and breakfast started at six, but you could tell they were getting prepared and would be ready for guest at 6am. Because i could not rate breakfast not giving a 5th star. The hotel offers an airport shuttle from 4am-11pm. The shuttle may not actually run during those hours, but the hotel will call a taxi (vouchered) for you in it's place.

Sketch - not recommended, would not book…read more Our room had an adjoining door, but the internal door (our side) was missing. There was NO WAY TO LOCK THE DOOR FROM THE INSIDE! They claimed the other side of the door was a conference room being renovated, and there's no way to get in because there's a wall. But we slipped something under the door without problem, so clearly no wall. He wouldn't show us the conference room or the inside for peace of mind; and supposedly the workers have access?!? And I can't lock it from the inside?!? I don't understand why construction would force them to remove the INSIDE door that has a lock on it. The front desk got extremely angry when we tried asking for a new room. My husband has the patience of a saint, and the conversation turned sour quickly. The man at the front continued to insist it was just a conference room and to "just trust him", and refused to show me the conference room for peace of mind to reassure there was no access. And again, this does not justify the missing internal door. Missouri's hotel law (Chapter 315) requires hotels to operate with "strict regard to health and safety of the guest", and a room that cannot be secured from the inside is not safe and is not acceptable. He said there were no other rooms available - although the parking lot wasn't that full so I'm unsure if it was true - so we went up the street to the DoubleTree and it was MUCH better!!! Customer service reassured us we'd be refunded, but we've yet to receive the promised call from the manager. I do not often do hotel reviews, especially not bad reviews, but I felt this was important. I would absolutely not recommend staying here, especially if you're a female traveler.

She continued to tell me that I was wrong, even though she was the one who blatantly has no idea how to do her job until another worker at the front desk told her that indeed, she was incorrect. Now for the rooms... I literally had to switch out of the first room due to bugs being all over the curtains! So, when I switched to another room, the first thing I heard was how obnoxiously LOUD the FILTHY VENT was! Unbelievable! I woke up sneezing and with a stuffy nose the next morning due to such POOR AIR QUALITY AND DUST! There is literally dust everywhere! Especially on the walls and on the desk! On check-out day, I was rudely awakened by loud blabber mouthed housekeepers in the hallway. They clearly have no decency whatsoever. You can hear every single personal phone call they have and the inappropriate conversations they have with each other. I decided to just get up at that point, since going back to sleep clearly wasn't an option, and order in room-service breakfast. That was the WORST room service breakfast I have EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! How does one manage to BURN 2 BAGELS AND GET YUCKY BROWN GUNK IN EGG WHITES?! Then for the disgusting icing on the cake, I discovered 2 NASTY BUGS IN THE ROOM!!! ONE WAS MOVING ON THE COUNTER TOP IN THE INCREDIBLY SMALL BATHROOM THAT REALLY SHOULD HAVE A VENT TO PROMOTE AIR FLOW AND ON THE WALL BESIDE THE BED! THANK GOODNESS I HAD LYSOL WIPES WITH ME TO WIPE DOWN MY BELONGINGS BEFORE HIGH TAILING IT OUT OF THAT DISGUSTING HOTEL! !!DO NOT STAY HERE!! THE HOTEL CLEARLY HAS AN INFESTATION!!! The staff were... professional considering the ownership OBVIOUSLY does not care about this property despite all of the responses to the 1 star reviews that might have you beleiving otherwise. Based on our experience, the front desk clerk should ask the question, "Would you prefer a roach room or a mold room?" The first room we were condemned to was room 140. When we were sitting in th room after an evening out is when we began to notice the apparent permanent residents of this room. the cockroaches were having a playdate under the beds and began roaming around. Looking at a review from 4 months ago the same room was mentioned as having . We went to the lobby and they moved us to room 175. When we inspected this room before moving out stuff in we lifted the mattresses in the double beds and this room was cleaner and no signs of the permanent residents. But there was a smell. It smelled of ammonia, cat pee... amd there was mold on the ceiling outside the shower. Well we needed to sleep. So we did. This morning I was sitting on the loo as you do in the morning and the ceiling began to drip on me. THE TURTLE RETREATED and I could no longer go. Went to use the lobby bathroom and mid go the cleaning lady used the key to open the door without even knocking. Surprise pooping man for the win. Please take all of the reviews here seriously. They are not taking any of the reviews seriously. They don't care. The poor staff here have to deal with the backlash while the owners do nothing to fix the property. Drug addicted, experiencing homelessness, Abusers, crime, and more are plaguing this property. The shuttle drivers were nice and the restaurant in the parking lot was great but neither are really tied to this hotel. BEWARE
