I met with Peter who came to my house, gave me an estimate, and helped me figure out what sort of cover I wanted. He also helped me easily arrange financing for the project through a se one party. Jonathan worked with me to find a day for installation. And my install team, led by Preston with the help of Chris and Tim, were top notch: polite, professional, and easy-going. What most important? Got work done less than a year ago. Wind came with no support whatsoever. I called and asked for a quote from the insurance company but never received one, nor did they come by. But when they had not received their money for the initial installation of the product, they stayed on course. Kinda disappointed that literally I had no support or warranty after the initial install. They could have made it clear that there was no warranty on weather or nature damage. The standard industry warranty is 5 years, and now I need help; there is no support. I want everyone to BEWARE if you do business with this company. Then when they initially installed the product I had to force them to do it the way I wanted it done. The product is good quality. But the warranty, support afterwards, and customer service leave a lot to be desired. I hope this is passed on to management P.S They have blocked people from reviewing on google so what that say about them?

The shade goes from my house to about a foot inside of my property boundary wall. It's doing a great job and seems to be creating cooler pool water. The Outside Shade company is a local family owned and operated company with several members of the family involved in the business. They were always very quick to respond to all my questions and were great to work with all the way through the project. I love being able to support a local family owned and operated business! We got the quote and scheduled a timeframe to begin the install. Mario came out and put up the poles first and then about a week and a half later came in to complete the install as discussed. We have a couple more items to be done at a later time, but we will most definitely be using them again. Side note, we live in an historic district home, and we have neighbors interested as well. The work compliments the historic design. Great experience and thanks again Kevin and Mario!!

I contacted the owner who arranged a time for us to meet so that she could see the piece to understand our repair needs. She proceeded to competently stitch the canopy and we were on our way 20 minutes later. Most people would be intimidated by a 53' canopy, but Tatiana didn't even bat an eyelash. The two-man installation crew, Shawn and his right-hand man, were efficient and professional. Another thing I liked--Imperial has its own installation crew, not outside contractors.
