I've been to Drum coffee a handful of times and have not had a bad experience. In fact, I've only had wonderful experiences at Drum coffee. I usually get an americano. They only offer one size and it's perfect! They have a section of Drum Coffee co gear which looks super cool - I'll probably pick up a mug soon! They offer both bar seating and tables and there's typically some light music in the background. A big shout out to the manager Kendra. She's so nice and always has a smile on her face! They give to local charities and each time you're inside you can help choose which one you'd like them to give the most to. We walked here after I found the coffee at the nearby Comfort Inn unbearable. The funny part is: the coffee at the hotel was from Drum. The difference was: the coffee shop had all the good plant milks. I also bought a "drumstick", which was like a homemade energy bar. It was definitely calorie-dense and tasty. My daughter and I both liked the vibe... you can see all the bags of imported coffee beans and the light fixtures are cool. The two baristas were definitely busy but they were also positive and helpful. Coffee was ready fairly promptly and tasted better than the no-milk version offered at the hotel. It was a little strong for my liking but (as I stated before) a little plant milk made it bearable. read more

We ordered a hot latte that was okay, not bad, but the cold brew coffee was definitely not good. It came choked full of ice, as much as could possibly fit in the cup before adding the coffee, and it had an awful sour taste. I guess it doesn't matter that it had so much ice because my husband only finished half of it until we found another coffee shop a few blocks away that had much better cold brew. They don't allow dogs inside, but they do have a walk-up window to get your coffee, and they do have dog treats. read more

Drum Coffee has been a great find in Missoula Montana. They have a neat feature where every order placed gets a token to donate to a charity. They select different charities and usual offer at least a couple to meet different passions. I always order their cold brew, and it has never disappointed in strength, boldness, and flavor profile - no cream or sugar needed! Their cookies are delectable as well and come in a few fun flavors. I'm still hoping to find merch that suits me because I love coffee and I'm a drummer - the range of hats, shirts, etc are just not my style. But I did get a cute sticker for my water bottle! read more

Can't wait to try their Luigi coffee (what they use for their expresso) at home. Bought a bag of Airto coffee (what they use for their drip) for a friend. Love the lounge area, great space for getting some work or studying done. Got a delicious lavender oatmilk ice latte and a vanilla ice latte. They have a drive-thru if you don't want to leave the comfort of your car. Glad we stopped here on our road trip. read more

Stopped here on our way through town and are so happy we did. The have homeade syrups and I got an iced lavender latte. The inside isn't open at this location right now but there is both a drive up and walk up window. Service was quick and the barista was very friendly and helpful (and wearing a mask!). Drum Coffee. It felt really disorganized for 8:00 in the morning. I waited at the take out window for about 6 minutes before getting frustrated and went inside. I then waited at the counter to even be acknowledged for another almost 10. There were 2 people working and so it seemed like they were understaffed. I finally ordered a cold brew which took about 4 minutes and it wasn't great. The concentrate didn't have any water mixed in and the oat milk wasn't shaken before pouring. Not worth the $5+. read more

So-o many great things about this coffee spot! We needed morning caffeine to power our drive back to Washington so we picked Drum Coffee because of it's fun name (our teen is a percussionist,) easy location near I-90, and great reviews on Yelp. The cafe has a comfortable and stylish interior had we the time to hang out, and our drinks were delicious, but the pinnacle of our positive experience was our interactions with the genuinely friendly and kind staff. Hidden Gem!!! I discovered this place while traveling through. First I was taken by their espresso, TRADITIONAL ITALIAN ESPRESSO!!! Not burnt, beautiful medium dark roast; prepared quickly and served promptly. I judge every town by its espresso and Drum Coffee Roaster put Missoula on the map, for me. There are some other shops in town that I since tried; but none of the others satisfied quite the same. I started ordering drum coffee online and realized that they did way more than just Italian espresso. I fell in LOVE with the "Elvin" African blend and the Ethiopian Guji. I love that their roasts highlight the coffee in both contemporary and traditional styles. The light roasts are not grassy or sour, yet still capture acidity and highlight the finer flavors; delivering great body and a lingering sweet finish. You will not find one snobby worker here. I've been to the Broadway location over a dozen times now and the staff is always so friendly. I also love how simple their menu is - it's straightforward and the prices are surprisingly low for how good the coffee is. They also have cool merchandise. I got my husband a Drum Coffee t-shirt and he loves it. It's very soft and hasn't lost its shape after several washes. Highly recommend this place! read more
