Drum Coffee has been a great find in Missoula Montana. They have a neat feature where every order placed gets a token to donate to a charity. They select different charities and usual offer at least a couple to meet different passions. I always order their cold brew, and it has never disappointed in strength, boldness, and flavor profile - no cream or sugar needed! Their cookies are delectable as well and come in a few fun flavors. I'm still hoping to find merch that suits me because I love coffee and I'm a drummer - the range of hats, shirts, etc are just not my style. But I did get a cute sticker for my water bottle!

Can't wait to try their Luigi coffee (what they use for their expresso) at home. Bought a bag of Airto coffee (what they use for their drip) for a friend. Love the lounge area, great space for getting some work or studying done. Got a delicious lavender oatmilk ice latte and a vanilla ice latte. They have a drive-thru if you don't want to leave the comfort of your car. Glad we stopped here on our road trip.

Stopped here on our way through town and are so happy we did. The have homeade syrups and I got an iced lavender latte. The inside isn't open at this location right now but there is both a drive up and walk up window. Service was quick and the barista was very friendly and helpful (and wearing a mask!). They also had a few bakery items and some breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

    Cool stickers available!

So-o many great things about this coffee spot! We needed morning caffeine to power our drive back to Washington so we picked Drum Coffee because of it's fun name (our teen is a percussionist,) easy location near I-90, and great reviews on Yelp. The cafe has a comfortable and stylish interior had we the time to hang out, and our drinks were delicious, but the pinnacle of our positive experience was our interactions with the genuinely friendly and kind staff. Next time we are in Missoula, Drum Coffee will be our go-to coffee stop. All. The. Stars!

Great atmosphere, really good coffee, and a friendly staff. And you get to vote for the charity to get a percentage of your purchase. Beautiful interior design. Highly recommended.

Sweet barista in a cute lil building. Coffee had no flavor. My counterpart agreed. So two lattes tested.

Yes, we got there 10 minutes before they closed, so I wasn't expecting the worker/s to have a happy attitude, but to my surprise, nobody was there. Everything online said that they closed at 7, even their hours of operation sign right on their counter, so no one being there was very unfortunate, and everything looked clean and like they were closed for a while. We waited there for 10 minutes to see if maybe they just didn't notice we were there, and finally, a woman came back right at 7 pm. She then said they were done for the night. Very upsetting to drive all the way there and then just be told they closed early, with no sign up or anything. Do better.

I also really appreciated that they offer several vegan options. I ordered the Creamy Blue Smoothie and the Banana Walnut Oatmeal. The oatmeal was absolutely AMAZING--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily one of the best breakfasts I've had here. It's the item I'd recommend to everyone. The smoothie was good overall, but the fresh mint was a bit overpowering and left an aftertaste for me. I think it would be even better without the mint or with less of it. I also appreciated that they use compostable straws, although mine was cracked when I unwrapped it. Later, I came back for lunch and ordered the half Brussels Caesar Salad with the vegan protein. The vegan protein (chickpeas and lentils) was delicious, and the half portion was surprisingly large. I also liked that the dressing came already tossed throughout the salad. One thing I found a little confusing was that the Brussels Caesar uses a vegan dressing but is topped with cheese, so I'd be curious what substitution is offered for guests ordering it vegan. The bread was good, although the butter was served very cold and was difficult to spread. A few suggestions that could make the experience even better: * Add a larger "Basal" sign above the entrance to make the restaurant easier to spot. * Install a large wall-mounted menu inside for easier viewing. * Keep tables and chairs wiped down throughout the lunch rush. The restaurant was spotless during breakfast, but by lunchtime several tables and seats needed cleaning. Given the price point, I'd expect a bit more attention to dining room upkeep. Overall: good atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. I recommend the Banana Walnut Oatmeal.
