There was a tiny problem and a small problem but both were taken care of very quickly. Their clean up was excellent and we recommend them 100%. We chose a simple clean design and it has greatly reduced the amount of light and heat coming in. I am glad we left two high south facing windows uncovered as there is no overhead light in that room. ALSO, the estimator was great. Geoff was on time, courteous and efficient as evidenced by the great work turned out from his many measurements.

THANKFULLY THOUGH, I was referred to this business from my Lash Girl, Tatiana (shoutout!). Originally I got a quote from a diff business- they told me close to $12k. I thought to myself that that had to be insane.... So i did myself a service by fetching a second quote and i'm so glad that i reached out to Drill N Hang. Not only was it MORE THAN HALF off my original quote, but the quality even is amazing that hey maybe THIS job could pass for the $12k price tag The two guys that came over to install were EFFICIENT- in and out in practically like an hour or so. Seamless execution and i'm pleased. The shades were beautiful and turned out better than i expected and i'm so happy i went with Drill N Hang. *** A little bonus- I had a few weeks to wait for the shipment of blinds to come in, Bannion was so kind to even take measurements for me to shop for my own curtains + rod (at least for temporary privacy in my bedroom!) AND even came by outside of the job to install it for me. I'm so grateful to have reached out to Drill N Hang. I couldn't have had a better experience with installing shades at my new home. The quote was done on the spot, with a rough ETA of when it would be installed. He and Breanne kept me in the loop while the shutters were manufactured, and set an installation date that worked best for me. Antonio then went ahead and removed the old blinds and installed the new shutters in record time while still being considerate and doing an amazing job. While looking at pricing I also compared Costco and Ryan was able to beat them AND offer a better product, which is amazing.

It can feel weird to have someone inside your home, looking at every room (as is needed for a consultation), but upon talking to Chuck on the phone and meeting him in person, we instantly felt at ease. He's honest, great at explaining his recommendations, and most importantly, never pressured us into making a decision we weren't ready for. Ironically, that is what led us to signing a contract with him on the spot. What also made us feel more comfortable was knowing that it would be either Chuck or his son, Carlos, handling the install. Carlos was very respectful when he was installing the roller shades and proactively asked whether we were happy with them. Even when I asked Chuck about the valances, he came by to check them himself the same day. We're super happy with the service and also the quality of the roller shades we got and would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone.

Parker seems to commit to jobs that either he is unable to finish properly or may not have the experience to complete correctly. I hired them to build a pool equipment wall with a gate, but there were several issues with the installation. The piece mounted to the brick wall was left loose, and the gate hinges were installed incorrectly. The patio cover itself was installed well, and I was happy with that portion of the work. However, tile around the base was damaged during the installation. I was told it would be repaired, but months later, it still has not been fixed. They also installed a sheer descent water feature. They had difficulty completing that portion of the project properly, and the overall execution felt amateur. The water pipe for the sheer descent is still visible and needs to be covered with additional Alumawood to properly finish the installation. Communication and follow-through have also been a major issue. I have had to constantly reach out to Parker myself for updates rather than being kept informed. On multiple occasions, he told me he would come out to address the outstanding work and then simply did not show up. After months of waiting, there are still items that have not been completed. Parker was hired through USTurf, another company I have unfortunately had issues with during this project. I genuinely wanted to have a positive experience with both companies, and I have been extremely patient and given them plenty of opportunities to make things right. I understand that issues can come up on a project, but it is not acceptable for relatively simple repairs and unfinished items to drag on for months, especially when appointments are made and then missed without follow-through. As of the time I am writing this review, the work is still not fully completed and the outstanding issues have not been resolved. Based on my experience, the biggest concerns have been workmanship on certain parts of the project, communication, and ultimately following through on commitments.

He was able to come out a few days later, take measurements and get me a quote. He was also able to source the door and trim which saved me a lot of guesswork. As soon as the doors came in, he reached out to schedule and he had the doors hung within a couple of hours. His attention to detail is what really stood out to me. He was able to source the exact doors, trim and handles I have so it looks like this came installed from the builder. Everything is level and looks great. He was even able to refer me to someone to get the doors painted and that person did an awesome job as well. Shoutout to the Desert King team: Robert was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of information and options so we could make the best decision for what product would work best with our home and also be in compliance with our HOA regulations. Jason came by to measure twice to ensure accuracy and Bridget kept us updated on the timeline of the project. The shining star was Freddie and his installation crew. They knocked the entire project out in one long day! From demo to cleanup the entire crew worked like skilled clockwork and were all very respectful of our home. They left it very clean and tidy. Was quoted by a different company $4,500 to replace it and that price was unacceptable as it cost me $8,200 to replace all my other windows including a new sliding patio door recently. So I found this company who was able to replace parts of it and save me a lot of money. A tech was sent out to measure and provide an estimate (sorry cannot remember his name) he quoted for all 6 pieces as I asked but told me I only needed to change 2 if I was going to do any of it. The 2 main pieces had dust and dirt in between the panes so I could never get the window clean. After I decided to move forward I scheduled the install and Marlo showed up and was very professional and polite. He did the job very quickly and when he was removing the 2 old glass panes we discovered that they had completely failed as the outer pieces of glass separated from the inner spacer in effect leaving me with single pane glass. Marlo installed the new low e double pane glass and I now have a window that is in much better condition, clean, and way more efficient. Thanks Cut Rate & Marlo

April 9, 2014, I made my purchase of a DropShade from Robert, the sales rep. During his visit he showed all the options in fabric choices and operating equip. He mentioned the 3" gap with the shade from each side. At that time I requested an additional 2" be added to each side of shade to make up for wind issues. He marked the wall with blue tape to show where the unit would be installed. 4 weeks after my purchase the DropShade was installed. After the installation I made it known the width of the fabric was not as I requested. I was told to call the office and they would take care of it. After three calls to DropShade I finally got Robert on the phone. He came by our home the following week. I pointed out to him the width of fabric was not as we agreed, (an additional 2" on each side) he told me the DropShade was built to his measurements. Then proceeded to tell me it was to my best interest the DropShade did not have the extra 2" per side due to wear issues on stucco. I then pointed our the hold downs on the bottom of the DropShade were different, and also pointed out the crack in patio where the hold down anchor was installed. Lastly I pointed out the end piece for the hold down was not screwed to the bar all the way. At this point in my conversation with him he got very defensive with his comments. His last comment to me was, "the shade was constructed to his measurements". He would send someone back to screw in the hold down. Nothing will be done with the width of fabric because it was built to his measurements. The basic principal of the awning does the job, the sun is filtered as per its purpose. In closing, I am not happy with the workmanship of the DropShade. It is my lesson learned that I did not have the additional 2" per side added to purchase agreement. I called DropShade this morning and asked for info and a quote. Their rep, Robert, took a bit of information from me about the application and said he'd be happy to come to my home to discuss the job. He then asked if I was married, and upon my affirmative response, suggested he come out this afternoon to meet with me and my husband. As we already had plans, I suggested he come by during the week. He hesitated, and suggested late Monday pm. I replied Tues after lunch was better for me. He then asked if my husband would be available then, too, as he wanted both of us there when he came out; stating that my husband would think of questions that might not occur to me. He then suggested I email him photos of the arbor needing the shade & we could discuss the job based on the photos, and he could come out when my husband was available. Joseph came out to give us a quote on a 2 in 1 and a standard blind. We were so impressed with not only how professional and knowledgeable he was, but how personable he was. Once we ordered our blinds he kept us abreast, via text messages, with updates on how our order was coming. He let us know when it was being manufactured, when it was in the quality control review process and when it came out of QA. He then let us know when we'd be hearing from the scheduling person, which occurred just as/when he said. I just bought and took delivery on a house full of the finest looking shades! My neighbor and I compete living in two of the nicest homes in anthem country club! We compare toys all the time. He made the mistake of getting a cheap version with another company in town; he was sorry when the contractors board told him his job was put together illegally...wow! I got 3 manual shades for windows and one motorized shade for my balcony (that one covers an entire sliding glass door). The installation was professional and the shades work well. The installation of one of the shades was delayed because I requested an image printed on it, which apparently is something that they had done before but didn't have a lot of experience with. I was a little worried about how good the print was going to be, but I was pleased with the result. I would recommend their product for people concerned with blocking as much light as possible. read more

Cody at Dropshade has been a pleasure to work with. We called for a estimate and he came out with samples, fabrics, and ideas on what we needed for our window and sliding glass door. We choose the motorized shade with blackout fabric. A few weeks later he came back and installed it and did a great job on the installation. Shortly after we realized we wanted an extra remote so when we are laying in bed we could operate the shade. He came back out right away and programmed one for us. Shawn at Dropshade is the only game in town if you want fitted, in-track, automatic blinds, as far as I'm concerned. He did my 2000-square foot unit at Veer Towers, and frankly, I feel like a secret agent every time I hit the button to make the blinds go up and down. I'm pretty fussy and he took the extra time to make sure everything was level, everything was screwed down tight, no wrinkles, and even gaps everywhere. Give him a call and tell him that the annoying guy on the 33rd floor sent you, he'll know who that is. read more

I know that they are best used for summer but I could not believe how much warmer it made our patio when we turned on our propane patio heater this last cold spell. I called on a Friday night close to closing time to see if I could schedule with them to get an estimate on some window solar screens. Ben wound up calling me back to let me know he can come by on Monday morning to get me an estimate. He came on time at 9am to get measurements and provided me a quote thereafter. That initial meeting was the only pleasant part of this experience because the communication after I made the half payment was horrid. Ben mentioned that he would be in another country on a trip the following day after the estimate was provided, but let me know that in two weeks the product will be ready and installed. Two weeks passed and I never received any follow up regarding our install. I also never received the digital receipt and invoice I was told I would get for the payment I made so I made sure to keep the text confirmation to him directly along with my payment detail on my end. I followed up with the company and called three times to speak with someone regarding my installation and product. I received no call back all day and called again the day after. This was when two weeks had already passed. I texted them on their business text line thereafter when I received no follow up. I had to text them twice for me to hear back from Juan (JD) who explained that he was in charge of things while Ben was out of the office in Indonesia. When I expressed my frustration with the fact that no one has contacted me regarding the product and installation, he said "do you want me to help you out or not?" That response was incredibly not empathetic because I was expressing my frustration that it took me asking them 5 different times regarding the service to get any feedback. He connected me with Caesar who was the one doing the installation. Caesar contacted me saying that he would be at my house Thursday to do the install. Thursday, he calls me again to say the product will be in after 330pm so he will have to move the installation to Friday. Caesar said he would be at my home by 9am, but no communication at all till after I called and texted after 910am to receive a text from him saying he will be 30 minutes late. Despite the lapse in communication, Caesar and Miguel both made the ending result of this experience better. They were both polite and took their time to make sure everything was aligned. Both of them deserve 5 stars alone. Aside Caesar and Miguel, communication has honestly been quite bad with this company and the way it was handled when I followed up was quite rude and lacked empathy for the frustration. No client should ideally have to contact the company various times to be acknowledged for the job to follow through. Price for everything was fair, I just wished the customer service was better. Currently, still waiting for an invoice record since the company has not provided that after I tried to call again multiple times to make final payment. I know with travel and everything factored that it wasn't all one person's fault for the horrible communication, but the service just wasn't what I expected because Ben seemed to really care when I met him for the initial estimate. I understand delays, but I had to re-explain the project to Juan (JD) and Caesar because Juan (JD) didn't even know who I was and addressed me as another client named Camila. The whole process after initial estimate was a headache because the staff wasn't prepared and had I not called or texted to follow up multiple times, my project would have been even more delayed. Juan made "promises," he didn't intend to keep because Gina from the office line called saying he never intended to send over the invoice today and that Ben would be the one sending over my warranty and invoice info. Not a great impression of the company as a whole and I am still waiting for the invoice and warranty details. In the end, however, I have to say Ben is trustworthy for his product quality and escalation service. He contacted me as soon as he touched down and provided me with what his staff could not. I know things fell in the communication pipeline when he was away, but I appreciated his urgency to fix the issue.

We received quotes from multiple companies and had them all come in for a consultation. But there was just something about Ron's vibe that we just loved! And Sabrina is such a sweetheart! All 3 bids were roughly the same price, so we chose based on service, and Aaron/Dreamhouse was the best. He came and did the final measurements and was very upfront that it would take 4-6 weeks, realistically 6 weeks. He was right, it was a long 6 weeks, as we were excited to get the whole house done. Joaquin, the master installer and his son Joaquin Jr installed our blinds. Joaquin is a perfectionist, and works to make everything just right. The guys worked well together, and were very respectful and professional. Ask for Joaquin to install your blinds! We had a hiccup with one of the remote control blinds, the day after installation and Aaron came right out and adjusted it. Shout out to Sabrina for the great communication. My blinds look great and work great. I definitely recommend Dreamhouse LLC.
