My mother in law was scammed by this guy after hurricane Ida in 2021. She had damage to her house…read moreand needed a storage pod to put her furniture and other belongings in so they can repair her house. He told them that he can get them one with no problem and charged them $1,000 a month and made them pay for 6 months up front, plus a delivery charge of $800. This had to be paid before he can have one delivered. After weeks of waiting for this container it finally showed up and was in horrible condition. it was beat up and rusted and the floors had large holes in them. Then it took days before they came change the floor for us to use it. We had to put a large tarp over it to keep her things from getting ruined from the leaks. When the 6 months was up, we tried to get him to come pick it up so we wouldn't have to pay another $1,000 a month. It took them over 2 months before they came pick it up. And then posted a picture of it on his Facebook page trying to sell it for $7,000. He was trying to sell it while it was still sitting in her driveway. Do not trust him, he is only trying to get your money and run with it.
