So easy, so good! Highly communicative and 100% reliable. We had Dave bring his whole set-up into our rented space and he was able to work with the establishment ahead of time and on the day of party to have a seamless set up and takedown. His actual music production was on point and brought the energy we wanted! No reservations on our recommendation and I look forward to working with him again in the future. read more

We were so lucky to work with Dave for our wedding and it was the best decision we did! From our first conversation, Dave's a total professional and we totally clicked on the vibe at atmosphere we were going for. He saw our vision and helped us execute to a tee. We had a crazy idea of replicating a DJ AM and Travis Barker set I saw at Coachella many years before and unbeknownst to me, Dave was at that same show and saw this set. He was able to find a talented drummer Josh Fry and both curated an amazing set for our midnight show that everyone stills talks about! Dave took care of all the details from the pre ceremony music to set the tone, our precession, cocktail, dinner and full reception with such detail and keeping the party alive throughout the night! Our wedding was a long day but Dave was amazing all the way to 2am when the party ended. This was an unforgettable night and so grateful to have such a talented DJ with great musical taste for our special day. Thank you Dave! read more

We had the best experience working with Dave for our wedding. He was organized, thoughtful, timely, and I've never been to a wedding where the guests are so complimentary of the DJ. Also, a wonderful MC that kept everything on track. I didn't worry about a thing all night because he was the best and handled everything. Thank you Dave!! read more

DJ DAVEY DAVE! Dave was absolutely incredible! He was so professional yet so much fun. He met with us before the wedding and went through every last detail. Dave made a detailed timeline which helped us with our planning. Dave had an amazing ceremony and reception set up. The lights at the reception made it so much fun! He also was our MC throughout the night which kept the night flowing smoothly. Dave kept the dance floor PACKED all night! He played all of our favorites but also added in his own flair. So many of our guests told us this was the best wedding DJ they have ever seen! We can't stop talking about how fun he made the night. 10000000/10 recommended DJ DAVEY DAVE! Dave is an absolutely exceptional wedding dj. He perfectly executed the timings for the ceremony and reception as well as produced a phenomenal mix for dancing at the reception. After the day we received so many compliments on the music. Dave is great at helping to fill in any gaps in ceremony music ahead of time and getting an understanding of music taste to play for the reception. He was a highlight of our wedding and we could not recommend him more. He even made a wedding video reel and provided it to us the following day! We cannot recommend Dave enough. read more

Dave was absolutely great! Super professional, he made the entire audio process for our wedding very easy and seamless, despite a massive thunderstorm disrupting the planned order of events, you never would have known anything was changed last second. All the mics and speakers for the ceremony and speeches went perfectly, and the dancing music was awesome too. We gave him a general playlist just to give an idea of what our guests would like, but said he could play what he wanted for the most part, and the dance floor was packed the entire time. He did a great job transitioning from more family/oldies songs early to our favorite throwbacks and more energetic dance songs by the end of the night. Couldn't recommend highly enough! read more

We had Dave as our DJ for our wedding last month and he was wonderful! He was prompt, responsive, professional and most importantly, fun! Our guests had a great time, and many told us it's the best wedding they've ever been to. Prior to the wedding, Dave had a questionnaire for us to fill out, with all the imperative details and requested songs. He created a personalized timeline for us based on our vision and stuck to it. Whenever I reached out to him via email or text message, his responses were very prompt and professional. He played fun, upbeat music, that kept our guests dancing all night long. My wife and I had the pleasure of having Dave as our wedding DJ recently and I cannot express how good of a job he did. We received many comments about how great he was and how he made the wedding flow very well. He was well organized and sent us a document months in advance to help us organize the wedding and plan music. I explained that I was a big kanye fan and he made a 20 minute mashup for me that was an awesome finale for the dancing. You will not be disappointed having Dave as your DJ. read more

We had Dave as our DJ for our wedding. This item was one of things I was the most nervous about. We didn't want a cheesy MC but also didn't want someone super hip that wouldn't quite fit our small wedding with a lot of older family members along side our younger friends. Dave struck the perfect balance and really listened to what we wanted and found a way to mesh the musical tastes of my husband and I, which vary quite a bit. Dave was very professional and courteous, he met with us twice prior to the wedding to discuss our plans and even visited the venue with us so that he could make sure everything would run smoothly. He also was very welcoming to last minute changes to our timeline and even found a way to play some obscure music requests by some of our family. Dave was a pleasure to work with and we refined him highly. He will certainly be our DJ in any of our future events. read more

I cannot say enough great things about DJ Dave. He did such an amazing job dj-ing at our wedding! He was very responsive and professional. He met with fiancé and I and took the time to discuss the timeline of our wedding as well as any special requests. He was a wonderful DJ and MC. He kept the crowd on the dance floor and all of our guests had a blast. We couldn't have selected a better DJ for our big day ! read more

Dave was recommended to us by a friend and I couldn't be more pleased with the recommendation. He is EXCELLENT. So easy to work with, prompt, great with communication, and flexible. He kept our guests on the floor dancing the entire night ! He was so great we had him stay an extra hour! He listened to what songs we loved and what songs we wanted to avoid and honored those requests. On top of all that, his MC skills are great as well. He took us seamlessly through the pre wedding cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception (including first dances, a surprise performance from a family member, cake cutting, dinner, etc) without missing a moment. Thank you so much Dave for DJing a perfect evening. read more

I took a chance and hired DRJ productions for my party blindly without a referral and I couldn't be happier with my decision to choose him. Upon initial contact he was very professional and attentive to planning ahead of my event. I provided him with a list of songs and styles I wanted for my party ahead of time. He arrived early to setup and soon was playing tunes. He incorporated all the songs I requested and mixed in his own that matched what I wanted. My guests were really happy and dancing during his whole set. He was also a great MC. He got us to dance a conga line, a few other group dances and got everyone involved. He also was able to accommodate my friends who had an impromptu song request that he was able to download on the spot so they could sing the song for me. Another fiend also did the same thing and again he was more than helpful. I can't thank Dave enough for the fantastic job he did and I will most definitely use him again in the future. read more

This post is 1.5 years late, but I just wanted to write what a wonderful experience Dave provided with his DRJ production DJ services at our wedding in June of 2018. We were very nervous with who to go with for our wedding and he took the time to do a skype interview from home. We even got to see his sweet son during the interview. Dave mixed together two of our favorite songs by Ella Fitzgerald and Punch Brothers into one continuous song that blended together PERFECTLY for our first dance. I still play his blended song some times and it is a wonderful reminder of our wedding day and what a great time we had. He kept the party going on all night and everyone was excited to dance. He was able to smoothly transition our music set up from the ceremony room to the drinks hour and then the reception, all with his own materials and working independently. There was not a single hiccup at our wedding. He even was able to transition from our different genres of music at each specific hour of our wedding, smoothly transitioning from old jazzy hits like ella fitzgerald during drinks hour to cultural music at the start of our reception and transitioning into modern hits as the reception picked up after dinner. His guidance with the music kept our wedding on perfect timing and he took great care to signal the end of the wedding in a gentle way that encouraged people to get one last dance in and shuffle out on time so that we weren't charged overtime at our venue. I would never hesitate to use him again and am already looking forward to reconnecting with him sometime soon for future family occasions to have use his services. Oh and I have to comment that we also still get comments about how great the music selection was at our wedding - and Dave managed all of that. We didn't spend hours choosing our playlist, we just gave him the genres and artists we liked and he handled the rest BEAUTIFULLY! Thank you again - can't say enough. If only I had a copy of our wedding playlist that he played for us. It would be the best Christmas gift ever - because his music playlist was just that amazing! Dave - if you ever get to read this - thank you for everything! Sorry this review is so late - hope we see you sometime soon in the future for another celebratory occasion. read more

Dave was the nicest guy and we were so happy we hired him to DJ our wedding. Our wedding was smaller, so I almost wasn't going to hire a DJ. Dave made us so happy we did. Everything was a great experience, from the initial communication down to the very last song. My family and friends loved him and he kept us dancing the whole night. He was also very good at keeping our wedding on track without being super over the top or cheesy. I couldn't agree more with the other reviewers. We highly recommend him. Thanks again Dave!! read more

Dave was the DJ for our wedding, and choosing him was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! With a very "DIY" wedding there were many moving parts that had us quite nervous up until the wedding day, but we had full confidence in DJ Dave. From our very first meeting he was attentive, professional, kind, and fun. He went above and beyond with his availability for multiple meetings by phone, Facetime, and in person as we prepared for the event. On the wedding day, he was more than just our DJ - he helped coordinate, organize, and ensured all aspects of the day ran smoothly. Many people don't consider the small details when hiring a DJ, but Dave had his equipment set up and in working order well before the event started and was packed and out of the venue well within the time allotted for clean up! As a DJ/MC, Dave was spot on. He incorporated all of our favorite music, was able to blend/mix multiple genres for our hybrid first dance song, accommodated last minute requests flawlessly, and kept the dance floor crowded all night! He was always professional and articulate and kept the crowd engaged and excited without being over the top. If you're having any nerves at all about booking at DJ for your wedding or event, save yourself the trouble/stress and book with Dave. Beyond being professional and talented, Dave is just a solid, kind guy and some one we truly consider a friend after going through the wedding planning process with him! read more

I hired DRJ Productions for my wedding and he was great!!! I had several people ask me where I found him and commented on how good he was. He was the ONLY DJ I found who never flaked on me (in fact, he showed up early to every meeting).
