Some points I found particularly impressive: 1) they took her on the highway for the first time, this felt safest for us all (having someone who could take over if needed at high speeds!) 2) on one occasion they pulled over and instructor drew on paper how and where to begin a turn in an intersection. this visual demo really stuck with her and was helpful. 3) on her last lesson, they drove to the DMV test to get test day specific help including where to go, what roads they might be driving on, what are some areas others often get tripped up. there were other examples of really helpful lessons but I cannot remember. I also liked that this company in particular was incredibly easy to book an appointment with! others I found were booked out too far in advance. they also always showed up on time and used the full lesson time. My daughter took approximately 6-7 lessons with Daniel, paying around $180 per lesson. (Driver test day 250$$$) Throughout the entire process, she repeatedly came home frustrated, saying that much of the lesson time was spent talking rather than providing actual driving instruction and technical guidance. As a parent, I trusted that a professional instructor would be preparing her for success behind the wheel and for her driving test. What concerned me most was the timing and professionalism. After multiple paid lessons, Daniel suddenly suggested that my daughter might be better suited to a female instructor shortly before her driving test. If that was truly his professional assessment, it should have been communicated much earlier--not after weeks of lessons and hundreds of dollars spent. Instead of helping build confidence, my daughter felt increasingly nervous and discouraged. There were several interactions that left her feeling criticized rather than coached. A driving instructor's role is to teach, guide, and prepare students for success, especially when they are already anxious about an upcoming test. I cannot recommend Daniel based on our experience. We invested substantial time and money, yet received very little meaningful instruction compared to what we expected. Parents looking for a driving instructor should carefully consider whether they are receiving actual training, constructive feedback, and professional communication throughout the process. I hope this review helps other families make an informed decision before committing their hard-earned money.

The difference with William was night and day. A friend recommended William when our second child was ready to learn, and I am so grateful they did. He takes time before and after each lesson to explain techniques, review what was practiced, and clearly outline what to work on next. I thought it more than my duty to praise him for his stellar efforts as my driving instructor. Granted he was my instructor a few years ago, he was absolutely amazing. I came to him after a very poor experience with another instructor who would only take me down great highway and made every effort to avoid other cars and traffic. My experience with Uniworld Driving was the polar opposite. Anatoly was diligent and patient. He took me out on busy streets to ease my fear of driving, and really made certain that he replicated real-world driving experiences. Thanks to his efforts I passed my licensing exam the FIRST time around, actually, the DMV assessor got out of the car and shook his hand, praising him for being a great instructor! She was excellent with communication (all by text) and the kids reported that she was calm and clear with her instructions.
