It then gives you the link to make payment which we did. It doesn't say that it is a nonrefundable deposit. To their defense is buried on another page in the fine print.   Also no where in the information does it read that your child will be required at all times to be behind a mask. Parents are also required to mask up during a manditory meeting. You don't find that out until you've paid your nonrefundable $200.00. We are not believers in a masks ability to protect from viruses. Through out all of this, I have not once put one on and went about life as always. If one feels protected then they have the right and privilege to wear it. But to require my son to obstruct his oxygen while nervous and operating a vehicle for the first time is cruel in my opinion. If the ridiculous  mandate was still in place by the governor then we would have simply waited, but it has been lifted. We were pleased to find an opening at Between The Lines in Watson. They are $200.00 cheaper than Mom's, they state on the first page that the deposit is nonrefundable and they do not make kids play Covid games. They were also kind and courteous on the phone. I cannot say that about Mom's.

I was told it would be 1 month from the instruction class time until the kids go their driving lessons-4 months later, they were finally scheduled to learn how to drive. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because the actually driving instructor Marcelle is amazing. He was very patient with my kids and is overall, an awesome person. Not only do they NEVER answer phone, text, voicemails, but you can never find someone in the office. I've been trying to get my daughter's completed paperwork for over 3 weeks and still can't get anyone. The two men who are the driving instructors are great, but the business owner needs to learn how to run a business. Very unprofessional in the treatment of her clients after you give up $$$: to make matters worst, the neighborhood is ghetto. I witnessed a gang shooting while waiting for my son's driving lessons. My adult autistic son went though the written test on the first day and was told to log into the portal to schedule his driving portion of the class. When we log in, it shows that all of his documentation is missing, so it will not allow us to schedule. The schedule is wide open but no way to schedule. This place, as we have learned, has a terrible employee turnover problem. The owner states that it is peak season and someone will return our multiple calls from weeks ago. But I can assure you that they just don't have the people to instruct. The schedule has many openings and the parking lot is always full of student driver vehicles. I have heard from many folks on facebook that have had issues and they state the only way to get results is to file a complaint with the DMV. I can go on and on how unprofessional this place is but it is a waste of my time. If they were really concerned about this supposed "back up" they would stop holding classes, and get the kids in who need time behind the wheel. My son took his "class" on January 9th, and still has not gotten behind the wheel. I can't even get anyone to answer me about when they think it's going to happen. THAT pisses me off. That is partly why I'm writing this, because they don't seem to want to answer all my texts, emails and phone calls. Maybe this will get their attention. They say they have 120 days LEGALLY to get my kid behind the wheel, after he takes his written test - I don't care. That's a great idea. 4 months after he takes his written test, and doesn't touch a steering wheel!!!!! I want him to have the most driving experience he can before he gets his license.
