All available parking is full and everywhere around the area has no parking signs posted. Staff at the facility are very helpful and friendly but it's clearly a broken system.

The facility is woefully under sized and under staffed for the population served. There is…read moreinsufficient parking and the building physically too small for all the clients to fit inside and people were standing in line outside the building. I submitted all the necessary documents on line for a "Real ID", and that application was valid until 30 July. Once I received the email stating the documents were approved, I tried to schedule an appointment online on July 7 and the first available appointment was September third...and my application was only valid until 30 July. I had no choice but to go to the service center and wait in line with everyone else. We arrived 15 minutes before the office opened and the line was wrapped around the building I had to park a 1/2 mile from the building and It took 3 hours to get a license. The staff was great and working very hard, but the volume of clients was overwhelming. When we finally got to the counter, I asked the clerk if today was an unusual day and she stated "it's like this everyday". This is a systemic problem...the facility and staffing levels are not suitable for the population they serve. The department needs to take action!
