Powerhouse Gym Las Vegas - Leg Press machine

Powerhouse Gym Las Vegas

I feel I owe these guys a review because this is the best gym I've tried since moving to Las Vegas…read moreand I've tried A LOT including Lifetime, Torture Gym, Anytime Fitness, Next Level, and EoS. - Equipment: 9/10 For lifting it's perfect, maybe a little less so if you are cardio focused or need more mobility/stretching space, but every machine is solid and in great condition. Enough stuff so you aren't waiting for equipment like at lifetime. - Cleanliness: 10/10 this is the best maintained gym and you always see staff cleaning. Other gyms please take note. - Owners: 10/10 Both powerlifters who clearly take pride in their gym - Trainers: 10/10 I have only trained with Isaac, but he has been incredible. I've struggled with injuries and he knows how to adjust form/exercise to safely push yourself until you're wrecked lol. Also great help with rehab exercises. - Staff: 8/10, mostly everyone is really 10/10, but there is one guy who is like an NPC. If you don't ask one of his pre-programmed questions, he has no idea what to do. It hasn't been an issue for me, but I think this is where one of the negative reviews is coming from. - Water: 8/10, this is a huge one for me where LV struggles over and over, they at least use a filter. If you are not a power lifter, I can see how this gym would be intimidating. At Powerhouse, I'm probably in the bottom 15-20% fitness-wise, but at other gyms I would probably fall more in the middle. Don't let it stop you from giving it a try, they really maintain an encouraging, supportive environment!

I am writing a review about staff not the Gym itself or it's equipment…read more Unfortunately, I did not get past the front desk. I flew in from Houston on vacation for several days. I thought I was lucky to find a Power House Gym. I wanted to train everyday while on vacation and show my son what a real gym looks like. On top of paying guest fees for two people for 4 days, I had intentions of buying him at least $300 of merchandise as well. It literally took me 30 minutes to drive from my Air BnB to that gym. The moron at the front desk took his sweet time having a personal conversation with someone and when he finally decided to pay me and my son any attention, he simply told me to scan the QR code and then kept on with his conversation. I don't know if he was one of the owners or not, but this type of customer service is just poor. I came with the intention of spending a lot of money in that business but after dealing with that I just refuse.

All of the…read morebasic equipment is here and if you don't want to think about your workout you can follow the circuit fitness program outlined in the gym! Great, friendly staff, and super clean environment! The hours are sometimes difficult because even as members you don't have 24/7 access. Early morning or night hours usually mean less people, afternoon hours can sometimes be busy and mean you'll have to adjust your workout based on what equipment is available. They keep it dark and low lit in the gym which I enjoy so I am less focused on my aesthetics or other people and more focused on getting in my workout and feeling accomplished. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a boutique gym, that is never overly crowded.

I joined this gym about four months ago, and overall, the facility itself is amazing. It's…read moreextremely clean, smells great, and is very well kept. It's smaller, private and not super busy like most gyms. I can get my workouts done without waiting for equipment. I really appreciate the thoughtful touches, like the infrared sauna, nice showers, toiletries for women, hair ties, and the locker system. You can tell a lot of care went into creating a nice gym environment. There are a couple of male employees who are always kind, friendly, and welcoming. They talk to me, acknowledge me, and make the experience feel positive. However, my experience with some of the female staff has been the opposite. They often come across as rude, or unwelcoming. When I walk in, they typically do not say hello unless I say hello first. I genuinely love the gym itself and think the facility is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I just wish the customer service matched the quality of the space.

The current property is not as well-equipped or updated as the other regional properties, Henderson, Centennial and Spring Valley. The likelihood is that if this facility is upgraded to those very high-level standards, the overall member experience would be drastically enhanced.

I only come to this location for a quick lift during lunch break cause it's the closest to work…read more Gym goers here rarely put back the weights, both on smith machines and dumbbells. There's always some machines that's broken and they take a while to get fixed. Gym staff is... I dunno never interacted with anyone myself. No one says hello or good bye , that's okay tho here to get a pump not chat. Seems like their main thing is just to scan your QR at the front desk. Do come if you: Live or work nearby and this is your own option Just need to lift some iron and can make do with basic, older equipments Have no problem constantly Putting on and off weight plates, spend a eternity looking for dumbbells that are all over the place Don't come if: Expect top hospitality like equinox, lifetime and a majority of EOS locations Need fancy amenities like towel service, cold plunge, cryo therapy or massage chairs Clean and well maintained gym (I'm not sure if LVAC does this but other gyms have staff or trainers wondering around re racking weights, which is a MAJOR issue at this location) This is not the worst gym I've been to, it's probably the smallest LVAC location in Vegas but they have a decent amount of equipment and will get the job done if you just lower your expectation.

What really sets it apart for me is the environment--being surrounded by so many dedicated athletes and knowledgeable trainers is incredibly motivating and inspiring. Whether you're just starting your fitness journey or have been training for years, it's the kind of place that pushes you to become a better version of yourself. Definitely one of my favorite places to work out!

The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, and members are respectful no matter what level you're at. Whether you're new to lifting or very experienced, you don't feel intimidated here. The equipment selection is top notch and clearly geared toward serious weight training. This isn't a big box gym filled with endless rows of cardio machines--you won't find aisles of treadmills--but there's more than enough cardio equipment to get the job done. What really sets it apart is the quality and variety of strength equipment you don't usually see elsewhere. The amenities are another big plus: clean showers, infrared sauna, and a cold plunge. Everything feels well thought out and maintained. You'll occasionally see trainers or influencers filming content, but it never feels awkward or disruptive. As a member, you don't feel like you need to avoid them, and they don't care if you happen to walk through a shot--no weird vibes or attitude about it. After being a member here, I honestly can't imagine going back to a big box gym. This place offers a much better experience all around.
