I went there for the first time on April 7th, 2023. I spent nearly $200 on a new geek vape mod kit and juice. The employee helping me during the time was courteous. The vap mod worked fine, but since it has been a month since I bought it, I thought it was a good time to change the coil. When I tried fitting the new coil in, it wouldn't seat no matter what I did and kept spitting vape juice into my mouth and that's never pleasant lol. Since it's not far from my home, I drove up there and explained to the guy the situation and I wasn't looking for a refund or anything just a good price on a non- super name brand tank vape. The employee was like they are what they are and then proceeded to tell me the prices are high here because we are drive through Vapors and I told him what does that mean?? And he said well we have a lot more employees and a lot more locations and so we have essentially more bills to pay and that's why prices are the way they are here. Are you f*****g kidding me. There are 5 other vape stores and one that's literally opening down the street from them- smoke and vape dz- and I bought a nice stainless and leather black SMOK fortis kit for 50$ and other decent priced geek vape mods there (one camo that was really nice) that I suggest everyone check out. As for their juice "mixing" they get gallons of nicotine and flavorings online wholesale, which a lot of other vape shops do too and is also open to the public to purchase and do as well. I've been coming here off and on for almost five years now, and this past few weeks, I have been trying to learn how to speak in public, rather than use sign language, due to wearing this brand new hearing aids. I walked in with a list ready at hand, and Jacob was ready to help right off the bat. His lips was rather hard to read, since he wasn't enunciating anything very clearly and I was too focused on that damn delicious juice to even tell him that I am deaf. Now, let me be clear. This is coming from a person who would get yelled at for "ignoring" them, when I don't have my hearing aids on, and a person who gets yelled at for lying about being deaf, because I worked on my speech for so long that I do not sound deaf. (Worked on my speech for 18 years) Jacob, he was patient, chill, and was kind enough to repeat everything. I think he knew that I am deaf, but did not say anything. If he did not know, then his patience was mesmerizing. Standing there as he let me clean this old TFV12 tank, that has not been cleaned for 13 months and he did not expect anything from me, like the rest of the workers did. Most vape shops would get frustrated and wave me off, and there were times where I walked in and signed one word and would leave in less than 30 seconds, due to extremely agitated or angry workers. Jacob didn't expect shit, didn't try to make me work to talk or hear for TOO long, and he hooked me up with an indestructible mod. I took some pictures, while Jacob was watching T.V. The interior is colorfully lit, mainly blues. Upon entry, I was flooded with a haze of sweet-smelling cloud, as is typical of vapor shops. Drive Thru Vapors mixes a large number flavors of their own oils, well cataloged in several easy to access, rotating trays with charged e-cigs available for use. They make their oils in-house and have a huge selection. My friend is a complete newb. So, he had lots questions which the staff patiently and informatively answered. Vaping is more complex than it may seem: tank, batteries, voltage, nicotene levels matched with voltage, cloud quantity, flavors, cleaning, charging. At the end, my friend had a great product and was very happy. My girlfriend is a vape expert. I don't do it, but have observed that the relationship between a vaper and their store is personal. Smokers and former smokers share a sense of community. I've found that the staff in a Vapor store typically feels genuine concern for those who are trying to quit smoking. We felt in good hands at Drive Thru Vapors. My girlfriend said that the juice they bought there was less smooth than her typical supplier. It "bit the back of the throat". Biggest scam of a smoke shop ever., came today and bought a dripping wet cool mint disposable. Drove down the street before opening it and seeing it was busted, sticky, the paper was scratched and leaking, I called them to see if they could switch it out. I am a paying customer whom frequent this shop, and am known to the employees. The manager on duty proceeded to "weigh" it and found it was 46 ounces, NOT 50ounces (because it was busted, sticky, and leaking, duh) and proceeded to tell me there was "nothing he could do". Either train your employees to check the vapes, or don't sell them. Places like this are why I prefer small businesses. All the employees are friendly, very knowledgeable and open to share advice. I walked several months ago knowing nothing about vapor cigarettes and they were fully accommodating to helping me find the right equipment, flavors and nicotine levels to suite my needs, and it's since grown from a habit to a hobby. They have a fully stocked bar with all their current in house mixed flavors and you can sit there and try them all if you want. The young man who helped us was cocky, rude, and uninterested in helping us, claiming he was "tired." Upon buying a "good" tank that was actually awful he told us it was our fault for "buying a sh*tty tank" when it was he who recommended it. If something goes wrong in the night, wait until your normal shop opens.
