Failed me saying I wasn't checking my blind spots, I obviously checked every single one. He was not looking at me while I was driving. He was writing down and not even watching my driving. He had to prove that a driver needs to take a driving course if it's been too long and made a comment about it before we even took off. Get your drivers test done just to be disrespected by the staff. We got there before other customers. When the next test was ready to be taken, they were about to take another customer and so we spoke up and the grey haired lady said we couldn't take the test anymore because we spoke up about us being there first. after, they proceeded to two crap on us to customers in the lobby. looks like they need to use the crystals they sell in the lobby for "better vibes". read more

SCAM ARTISTS. Do not go here! Do your research. Check the BBB rating of this company. My daughter chose this company for it's convenience. They failed her during her driving test. We went through exactly what happened during the test and the reason they failed her sounded very suspicious. We asked around and found out that 6 out of 7 kids failed their first time. Most failures are due to improper shoulder/head checks. We researched proper head checks with our local DLD and found out the kids did proper head checks. We did more digging and found out that the company will easily pass you the second time. I had a great experience at the testing center. I wish they ran a driving school as well. April and Rick were really friendly from the start, when they check you in they introduce themselves, ask your name, and add you to the list. No appointment is necessary. Sometimes the center is crowded, but the tests are done very quickly and efficiently. I didn't pass the first time, but for very legitimate reasons (closely related to my driving school). The test was explained to me thoroughly. I took the test with April, and she was happy to explain what she was expecting before the second attempt. I was able to come back the next day and pass with 100%. The building itself is also nice, there are several rooms with good couches and music playing. I would definitely recommend, especially over the DLD's long wait list. read more

I just walked into this place today to take my road test and from the second I walked in it felt off. It looks like a set up for a therapist office that's doing road tests as a side job. The woman was very off putting and it did not feel like this was a legitimate place for road tests. There are other reviews that said they will fail you for extra money and I feel as if that would be true. I decided to not take my road test here because of the atmosphere. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but please do not go here to take your test. They will most likely fail you just for the money. The poor kid who just got done talking his test when we walked in looked like he was about to cry. She was chewing him up in the car while we were sitting outside(the door is glass and they parked right in front of it.) When she finally came inside, she said "if you're taking your road test come up here, have your permit and the $40 fee." She was not welcoming what so ever and I get it, this is something serious but it did seem like she's only doing it for the money. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Testing center -- not a school. Bring $40 + driver's permit and they supply the car and examiner. Rick is AWESOME!!! Kinda hard to spot -- in a very small business building back from the road beside Brighton Bank. Their office is at the end of the hall -- soothing music and running water sounds + crystals for sale. And, if that's not enough to calm you before the test, the examiner is very low key and goes over everything before you start the test. Awesome experience -- I can't recommend this place highly enough to do your driver's test. read more

We were there over Fall Break! It was very busy because many teenagers were using their day off to do their driving test, including my son. April was very kind and through. I was fun to see teen after teen come back with a jubilant smile after passing their test. If you do not pass, it is legitimate reason either from the accommodation of points or you made one of the automatic fail mistakes. April is honest business person. read more

We were very disappointed with our experience at Drive Right. While we were waiting for my son's turn, 3 of the 4 people waiting had failed the driving test. All because of lack of visual head checks. My son had the female instructor. Everyone said she was much harder than the male instructor. My son failed his driving test. He said the instructor would wait until the last second and then tell him to turn. One time she told him to hurry and go when he did not feel he had enough time to pull out. One of the most disturbing things was she actually grabbed the steering wheel 3 times! He was only with her in the car for 12 minutes. Do the math, every student they fail, they double their income. Forty dollars the first time another forty dollars the second test. We felt like it was not an accurate or fair evaluation of his driving skills. read more

I am SO glad I sent my daughter to take her test at Drive Right! We arrived there two weeks ago, and the testers immediately put her right at ease! They were super-friendly and personable (as opposed to the bad experience we had with the less-than-friendly driving testers in Heber). We drove all the way down from Park City to take the test here, just on the positive recommendations and word-to-mouth reviews that Drive Right enjoys among the PC community. Do not use Drive Right. This lady is just in this for the money. You will end up paying her 40 dollars and she will just fail you to come back with more money. You are better off going to the DMV to take your free test. read more

By the way I went to the DMV's driver division and passed the driving test without a problem.

We were really disappointed with this place. There was no one there when we arrived, and no sign or anything saying where the employees were. When they did show up, the man, Rick was very friendly, but the woman (who never introduced herself) was as ornery as all get out. After the test, my son whispered time that he was sure he hadn't passed-- he could tell by the way she was treating him. I hadn't expected him to pass, so this was no surprise, but I was surprised at the derision with which his mistakes were explained to him. It was terse, confusing, and much to fast to actually comprehend. You'd really expect people who work with teenagers all day to have at least a modicum of compassion for them, and the professionalism to explain themselves clearly (yes, the waiting room was full). Anyhow, this was a terrible experience. We will definitely opt for the DMV in the future. We'd at least expect crappy service there. read more
