First thing, I was greeted welcomingly. First, a caa-uute little dog. Then by the instructor, who welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. The office has a homey feel to it, which I appreciated. She was great to drive with, there were only calm words and/or instructions. She helped me feel confident and that was very important to me. We did everything on the video. So I'm glad I watched it Quite a few times. She is very kind and I Definitely, Definitely recommend Drive Right!! THANK YOU for making a kind of scary experience Great! And one I will remember! read more

My dad was taking a test today. The women instructor (not sure about her name ) was amazing. She was very professional and personable. She went above and beyond and even learned some Russian words (my dad speaks Russian) to make him feel more comfortable. Prior to my dad taking a test, I called the office with a few questions I had, and the girl who answered the phone was extremely helpful and accommodating. This place is amazing, highly recommend! Thank you! read more

They were worth driving from tooele and them some I would recommend them for classes or driving test any time of day. I'm still in awe of their raving fans style of customer service. I actually went to another place the day after and the guy there was very helpful told me exactly what I needed to improve on and I passed the test. He went out of his way with his full schedule and tested me at five in the morning. But Drive right was exactly opposite. Seems like they have a system to pass and fail that's not based off of the driver. She told me I was a failure and that everything that I took to prepare for it was a scam and she said I failed horribly. She went on about the school I had and the parents I have and I felt so put out after it. My brother said that when he took it there though the was a nice guy that helped him out and it was why we tried it in the first place but not anymore read more

I highly recommend u guys take the road test at here, the people are so nice and they will make u relax while u taking the test.

Please do your research first, I made the mistake of not doing my homework. My son took his first test, and the female tester failed him. Her explanation: an incomplete parallel parking (she said it wasn't close enough to the curb and not straight enough), and she said he missed a few head checks. I didn't question anything, I just tried to understand what needed to be corrected and made sure to have him practice more. Side note: my son told me that her instructions during the test were confusing a few times. For instance, she asked him to turn right at the Stop sign. My son kept driving because there wasn't a Stop sign. Then she abruptly said, "HERE, turn right here". Well, she made a mistake, there wasn't a Stop sign, she acknowledged that, but caused even more stress to a situation that is already very stressful. Moving on, my son practiced a lot of the parallel parking and we also spent time reiterating the need to not miss any head checks. Went for his second test, this time with the male tester. When they came back, he took us to a private room to discuss the results. He initiated by saying that my son didn't miss any signals, had a perfect parallel parking, and perfect maneuvering, however he proceeded to say that he missed a few head checks. The tester started to draw in the pink paper and explain the very unclear reasons for failing my son's test. I had to ask him to clarify what he meant a few times, because even I couldn't understand what the infractions were. One of them was a "missed" head check on a U turn that made absolutely no sense, and I still do not understand it. It felt like the goal was to confuse us, which he did very successfully. I expressed that I was very surprised that he "missed" so many head checks, enough to fail the test, and I asked if the students are supposed to exaggerate them. I've been driving with my son daily for several months, and he does proper head checks. I started paying even more attention after his failing of the first test. He was clearly bothered by my questioning. First he said no, you just need to glance (which my son definitely does), then he said, yes you need to exaggerate the head check for the test. The biggest revelation: Once he realized that it was my son's "second" test, he was uncomfortable. His tone changed and he told us that we should've brought the pink paper from the first test. It was very obvious to me, they will fail most teenagers on their first tests, they will likely pass the second "if" you let them know it is a retake. One of the reviews I read today stated that they alleged fail 6 out of 7. I can't confirm this information but it makes sense to me. While we were waiting 45 minutes past my son's appointment time to get his first test, I noticed several people failing, and that was also their explanation for being so late for his test. They definitely have a financial incentive to fail tests. read more

In my opinion this driver right is a good place to take a test. for the first time they give you good comments on head checks. Head checks save lives. Today I had a test, and I passed for the second time. Thanks God. read more

This lady driver scared me. She spent more time looking backward with head checks than looking forward. Accident waiting to happen.

The old lady that did my driving test was racist she asked me if I think "isis was a better person for my country" she made me so nervous the entire time I was driving and kept taking the steering wheel even tho I know how to drive and took a drivers ed class. read more

On the business cards there is a website included... this website directs you to a place where you can click links to search other websites for this info. Also, I am slightly concerned about the lack of information given on the company online. Might I suggest investing in a more dedicated site so that users have more availability for scheduling, thus increasing your business potential? Also, maybe add a way to schedule online without calling? read more

I failed my first test due to head checks and I am 19 and didn't take drivers ed in highschool. The driving instructor was great at preparing me for how to pass the next time(wich I did) she gave me a video to watch that went over everything on the test went from -54 points to -4 definitely recommend this place for everyone who is ready for there road test. Definitely recommend watching Dave's driving test super helpful read more

The driving test lady is so rude and went on and on abt her personal life in the car. I failed for no headchecks but I remember doing on every single turn and every time I pull in or away from a curb. Looking at the reviews, it seems like the pattern for them to fail you on the first time for head checks. read more

Would totally recommend taking your road test here! I had Rick as my driving instructor & he was amazing! Just so helpful. I was so nervous & tense afraid I was going to fail but I passed! 10/10 Thank you Rick! read more

Scam!!! Failed my son for letting another car go ahead, then for slowing at a left turn to check for pedestrians. Why? To collect another 40$!! They should not have a financial incentive to fail drivers. Scam !!! read more

This place is a complete rip off!! Buyer beware the guy that does the testing is totally creepy he was constantly saying oh I know your nervous ((um wasn't nervous)) he only passes girls he finds attractive and able to flirt with that flirts back with him ((((gross!!!))). Biggest rip off of $40 I've ever experienced would not recommend this place to anyone!! Total joke, not professional, not responsible, my testing took 6 mins total. How does this guy not get audited he's a scammer, passes who he wants and fails who he wants. Where is the accountability for being consistent and legitimate??? Bloats his ego talking up how he tests law enforcement and fire fighters blah, blah, blah! If you read this scam man I hope karma comes back to you for every single person you failed just becz you wanted the money or to be a jerk. read more

They were great. My daughter had a great time with the teacher. Make sure you bring cash.

I had a terrible experience at the drivers license division. I headed home with my son feeling very defeated after not being allowed to do his road test due to a delay in the paperwork by his third party driving company. (I fixed the problem within minutes but the DLD didn't care.) I tried calling Drive Right to see if by any chance they would have an appt today for a road test. It was my sons birthday and he was hoping to complete the test today. Drive Right was booked solid to the end of the day but they encouraged me to drive over in case someone no-showed. The next appts arrived on time, but it didn't matter. The young lady at the front desk specially asked one of the instructors if they would be willing to work after their shift to get my son in. I was amazed that this man, which I later found out was the front desks father, was more then willing to take my son on a drive. Wow. Just wow. My son is so shy and nervous and his instructor was kind and funny and put him completely at ease. His instructor also went out of his way to compliment me on such a nice son with great driving skills. We kept them so late after their business had already closed and they never seemed to care. So wonderful!!! Honestly I never knew this kind of customer service existed. I will be bringing my other children here for road tests and will recommend to all my friends. Thank you Drive Right!!! You made my sons birthday so special and renewed my hope in humankind. Your whole family is wonderful....and your little dog too! read more

I feel like this place is a bit of a scam. You'll pass the driver's exam, but only it you take it twice. It's nice that you don't have to wait to take the test at the DMV, but expect to pay a lot. I don't know anyone who has came here and passed on their first try. Maybe find somewhere else if you can? Also, it's weird that they sell crystals and jewlery stuff inside the waiting area considering that it's a place where you're supposed to test. read more

Okay now I will be honest. I looked at all the reviews on Yelp and Google myself. I was indeed worried, but was feeling I needed to give this place a true shot. And I know everyone's opinions are their own. But listen, this place is amazing!! They are friendly, to the point, and very understanding. I suffer with anxiety and I felt nothing but confidence and comfort being greeted by an awesome gentleman when I went in today to take my driving test and I passed! I was treated with the upmost respect and welcomed as soon as I walked in. If I know anyone who is in need of a driving test or driving education, I will for now on refer them to Drive Right. read more

I'm seeing a lot of poor reviews for this place, and I disagree with all of them. Rick, my instructor, was one the nicest and most polite people I've met. He was very fair and generous, regarding the test. I was very satisfied with my quick and smooth experience. read more

Drive right did an awesome job! My instructor was April and she was super calm and didn't make me feel stressed, the test was pretty fast and April was very kind and helpful during the test! read more

This is an amazing place. The instructor is supportive and knowledgeable. He was able to teach me exactly what I needed to know and I scored a 2/21 a near perfect score. Tired of the DLD Go here! read more

My daughter was super nervous about taking her driving test to get her license and didn't know what to expect. While she didn't pass the first time, Rick talked her through all the things she needed to work on and really helped her feel at ease. His confidence and calm demeanor was a game changer, and implementing the suggestions he gave after the first test helped her pass the second time around. So happy they were able to fit us in with short notice! Highly recommend these guys for the drivers skills test. read more

*scam* they are failing drivers for no reason to demand another $45 to retake a test. I have personally witnessed the owners chew out customers for asking questions. Do not subject your children to these humans for a 45 fee. What a disaster. read more

I love this place! My son was nervous about testing, but Rick really put him at ease. I have brought two kids to test here and both passed on their first try. Rick and April are extremely nice and the whole process is very simple and fast. I don't know what the bad reviews are about. My guess is that those people were just bitter about not passing. It's not Rick's or April's job to put incompetent drivers on the road. read more

I have never had a bad experience with this company. My entire family has tested here with exceptional results every time. It makes me think when people can't drive well enough to pass a driving test, they want to take it out business instead of taking responsibility for themselves. Weird we live in an age where you can bad mouth a business cause you can't drive. read more

Would not recommend to anyone. The tester was rude and she said horribly racists things during the test. Go anywhere but here.

Love it here! Passed my test first time around, instructor was very engaging and it helped a lot with calming me down so I could preform my best. Waiting room is very comfy and very convenient. Definitely would recommend! read more

I'm convinced this place fails you to make money. I've been failed twice for quite literally no reason. According to April i didn't do my head checks but i know i did. She told me at the end that no american should fail their road test twice and now i'm extremely discouraged and feel that that was super unprofessional to say. i'm never coming back here. read more

Not a driving school, but a driving test center. No appointments taken. Just walk in with $40 and the learner's permit. April and Rick are both really nice, putting the testee at ease. They are also very thorough. My son took his test here a couple of weeks ago, and I was pleased and impressed. Why wait on the DLD's month long waiting list to take the test? I recommend this place to every new driver! read more

It doesn't look like much when you walk by, but trust me. THIS WILL BE YOUR BEST DECISION YET! I recently just came and got my drivers Test done and what an experience. I was already nervous as hell to fail because I literally just spend my last 40$ To take this test. But also I needed my license done ASAP because I had a job lined up that I could start as soon as I got my license done. And if I failed I wouldn't have been able to take the test till LATE MARCH, with the state. (Yes I could've just paid to take the test again but my bank account said hell no) not only was the instructor complete transparent about what he expected and just spent time getting to know me to ease the tension. He was so friendly It was like driving with my grandfather or dad. The two instructors working are just amazing. They both are very friendly and they really do follow they're motto "after you step in these doors your family, it's our job to teach you how to drive not hope you did your homework" that mentality is what's missing in drivers ed and most state run operations. I remember my first time taking my drivers test and I will never ever go back to the state run programs unless I absolutely have too! Thank you guys so much for getting me taken care of quickly and with the upmost Professionalism! I will always recommend you guys to anyone I hear! read more

I had a wonderful experience during my road test at Drive Right. They are open from 10-6 on Mon-Fri and Saturdays by appointment. I was able to get an appointment on a Saturday, which worked out for me. The test costs $40. If paying by card, a tax of $2.92 is also charged. Rick was my instructor during the test. He was very thorough, but also very patient. Before the test he explained all the maneuvers that I would be tested on (parallel parking, uphill / downhill parking, lane changes, right and left turns, u-turn, 3-point turn, straight line backing). After the test he also explained the areas where I needed improvement. I recommend this place for road tests! read more

Idk what that lady is talking about that rated this place one star, I went in yesterday and let me tell u this they do really all they can to pass u, they look for things TO past u and NOT ways to fail u. I had a great time there the instructor I got made me feel comfortable and at ease about the stressful test! And let along I came all the way from Ogden thinking it was 40 when it's 45 they understood it was a mistake so they just took my 40. I recommend this place over the dmv any day for sure!!! Very nice and friendly people! Definitely worth 45 read more

I was so nervous to take my test and they made me feel so comfortable and talked the whole time so i wasn't nervous. They were kind if i made a little mistake and gave me the correct information i needed. If you're worried about covid they wore their masks the entire time! read more

Complete scam. The cara they use are not up to standard with brakes that do not work correctly. Extreme safety hazard. Anything to make a quick buck making students retake the test. There is a reason this place has an F with the BBB read more

Don't go to this place, the old woman is a nasty individual that will berate your kid and tell them they are stupid and have no common sense, even though she's an honor student at her school. My daughter was in tears in the car afterward. Great way to encourage kids to feel less competent for the next one. From reading the reviews they should be out of business. Mean woman!!! read more

Rick is such a nice trainer. He is such a nice and humble guy. I recommend everyones to been driver right school for doing their road test. I give him 100%. He is such a rock. So, I recommend all students must be go for road test on drive right school. Thanks read more

I was worried because of the reviews. Turns out, if you know how to drive correctly and know what NOT to do, you'll pass. Drove with an elder lady, she was super nice and funny. Don't judge this place by just negative reviews, just learn how to drive properly and you won't have to worry;) read more

Failed me saying I wasn't checking my blind spots, I obviously checked every single one. He was not looking at me while I was driving. He was writing down and not even watching my driving. He had to prove that a driver needs to take a driving course if it's been too long and made a comment about it before we even took off. This is a scam business attempting to collect extra money for failed tests. Don't go to them. read more
