I had Sam bar tend my boyfriends surprise 25th bday party this past weekend and it went amazing! Sam arrived on time to set up and have everything ready before guests arrived. His setup for the bar looked absolutely amazing... He was very nice and drinks were yummy! Not only was he a great bartender but didn't need me to provide anything because he had everything. I would put them at the top of my bartender list! Found them on yelp and couldn't be happier with the service!!!!! I give them 5 stars plus!!! :) read more

If you are looking for an amazing cocktail craftsman who also happens to be super friendly and professional then look no further. From moment of fist contact to crafting his last cocktail for my 50 birthday party guests, Sam nailed it. He was helpful and patient when helping me find a great drink menu and provided me with support and detailed information to shop for the booze. He brought everything else including a cool bar set up, homemade syrups and tonic and even the glassware and ice! I would highly recommend him and his company and will look forward to finding another excuse to throw a party so we can hire Drink And Be Married again. Cheers! read more

Drink and Be Married - Doing his thing - Bartenders Near Me

Sam bartended our engagement party and was excellent! He knows his drinks and we had a great time collaborating when putting together our unique drink menu. I look forward to having Sam for future events. Put 'Drink and Be Married' at the top of your bar tending choices! read more

Sam and Kristin, to put it simply, are amazing. We booked them for our LA wedding at SmogShoppe and felt like they were the perfect fit for the trendy/hipster venue. And yet they are so down to earth and were incredibly generous when we came for a taste testing. The drinks were a hit at the wedding. My personal favorite was the Sophia (this lovely rose-colored mezcal concoction) and a lot of guests liked the penicillin (whiskey and ginger packing a punch). If you like your drinks strong but delicious then they are right up your alley. There are a lot of things to be stressed out about when planning a wedding but we were never concerned whether Drink and Be Married would pull through. They absolutely know what they're doing. read more

I hired the them to bartend my best friends wedding last fall. The drinks were awesome and well crafted and the service was excellent. My friend didn't enjoy how strong they were but he's kind of a little vodka Bitch, if you know what I mean ;). read more

I hired Sam and Kristin for an engagement party I was hosting. My friends brought their engagement, but Sam and Kristin brought the class! They were fantastic; they have the right personality and demeanor to really fit into any crowd! Their drinks were beyond amazing. I couldn't have found better bartenders for this special occasion and anytime in the future that I have to host an event or a party, they will be my first call. read more

Sam was the bartender for my buddy Mike's wedding reception/housewarming party on June 15. I dont know the exact price, but Mike and Anne both said it was very reasonable. They also left him a nice tip prior to the event so he did not leave a tip jar on the bar. Sam had a menu of four drinks that were all amazing. The old fashioned, mint mojito, whiskey sour, and the jalapeno margarita. I personally enjoyed both the old fashioned and the whiskey sour. Sam was very professional and well dressed. He came prepared with his own mixing cups and mixers and mike and Annabelle provided all of the alcohol. The presentation, service, and execution was bar none. I would highly recommend Sam for any party or private engagement. read more

Sam was the bartender for my 40th birthday party at my house in Mt. Washington. He was outstanding. The drinks were delicious and he couldn't have been more professional. His communication leading up to the party was also excellent. I have had numerous people who attended the party ask me for his details and have seen him at a few of their parties since. Do yourself a favor and hire him immediately if you want someone to take care of all your bartending needs and also add a special touch to your party. read more

Sam bartended our Engagement party and Wedding, and I can't wait to have another party so we can work with him again!!! The cocktails are OUTSTANDING! We had 4 gorgeous specialty drinks at each event - 2 bourbon and 2 gin, since we love both, and I still dream about them. Our guest LOVED the drinks. Sam brings a really classy, friendly, professional vibe to the party, and he's the absolute nicest guy to work with. More stars!!! read more

Sam was hired by our firm to bartend and teach a mixology class for our office. He was extremely professional, he came on time and kept everything neat, clean and in order. Sam exhibited excellent instincts on when he should start teaching the group and when he should make drinks instead. He was affable with all members of the group and everyone came away with a new drink-making skill. We now have a new bartender we can call on for our events - Yay!. We would use him again without hesitation. read more

We had Sam and Kristen bartend our wedding in downtown Los Angeles this November and they were great! We couldn't have asked for more kind and helpful service leading up to the event, helping us with our menu and communicating promptly with us via email. They arrived on time, helped us tap our beer kegs, and even served our wine. All the drinks were all terrific; our guests loved the craft cocktails! Highly recommend these two, the price is very reasonable and the service is second to none. read more

My husband and I were reluctantly throwing a house-warming party and the idea of pouring drinks or worrying about the booze all night was a huge turn off. So we thought about hiring someone to bartend, but we wanted something small scale and simple, not an expensive catering company or a business that works huge weddings (and getting someone from craigslist was not that appealing either). We wanted something affordable and easy- and we definitely found it all and more with these guys. We chose bourbon and gin for our drink menu and they designed these gorgeous cocktails around that. We had a little outdoor bar in the back yard that we bought on amazon, and stocked it with liquor from Costco. They did everything else- they brought the glasses and the ice and they brought their own home-made mixers and juices and tea-infused this and that. They had carts and pretty pouring bottles and the whole set-up. I was super impressed. The drinks were truly designer and very classy: everyone was raving. We bought a bunch of beer and wine that no one touched- they just kept ordering Sam and Kristin's drinks. They even rounded up glasses and washed them throughout the night, and they happily extended past the time we originally set. Even though it was just a 50-60 person house party, they made it into an event. Basically, we didn't have to worry about anything drink related and it was so worth it. They were friendly and professional but with a laid-back vibe. In summary, I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I was beyond happy with the service they provided and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Drink and Be Married bar tended our wedding this past November 2013. They were incredible!!!!! They had 6 specialty cocktails for our guests to choose from. We did 3 gin drinks and 3 whiskey. All our guests raved about the drinks!!!!!!! They make most of their mixers and ingredients by scratch. YUM! Also they are just the best people to have around at a party. Best bar tenders of all time. read more

I created an account just so I could review these guys. They bartender my 30th bday party last night and were phenomenal. The service was way more than I expected. Completely turnkey, down to the little glass jars they served drinks in. Speaking of the drinks they were delicious, and really well crafted. My favorite was the lemongrass tequila drink they called "the conquistador". They were professional yet easy going and ultimately made the party flow really well. Can't recommend them enough. read more

10 stars out of 5! What a treat! Sam was fantastic! We had him for my 30th birthday party last weekend and he was so much fun. The guests LOVED his delicious concoctions. The small mason type jars as glassware were a hit. He came with a groovy bar set up with nice bottles and vintage props. He really made sure that we loved the menu before finalizing it and we did! Thank you Sam for a successful party!!! Will definitely have you back in the future! read more

Drink and Be Married - Bartenders Near Me

Outstanding duo. We hired Sam and Kristen for a private function with a twist - they were not only the bartenders, they were the entertainment! What a job they did...we couldn't be more pleased. I found Drink and Be Married on Yelp and contacted Sam to conduct a cocktail making class for a private organization. We had been working on this event for a while but were having problems getting a bartender(s) to embrace the concept. Sam jumped in with both feet and really helped us pull the event together organizationally and creatively. He was quick with suggestions and receptive to our feedback; not to mention incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. Day of went off splendidly. Guests had a fabulous time and loved Sam's class (we know - we did a survey!). Kristen was super-friendly and was wonderful with our guests. Drinks were original and delicious. Sam and Kristen were just so professional from start to finish. We will absolutely hire them again next time we need bartenders and can't recommend them highly enough. read more

We hired Sam for our baby shower and he did an amazing job. First of all, he crafted a drink menu based on two spirits, which all of our guests raved about. They had fun trying out all of the drinks, which were tasty and just right. We would definitely like to hire Sam again for our next event. He was courteous and professional. Thank you!! read more

I met Sam and Kristen working at a friend's party and thought they were terrific so when I was organizing my own house party for about 45 people I hired them. Sam came up with a great menu for the occasion (birthday, house warming etc.) and everybody was excited and impressed with the cocktails. They were professional, on time and organized. I'd use them again in an instant and couldn't recommend them more highly. read more

Ok so we hired them for my son's 7th birthday party (parents need to have fun too!). THe party that was supposed to end at 3 ended more like 7pm and that was all Sam's fault! He was an amazing bartender and our guests were so impressed with his craft. He was the focal point to the party and I have to say we had to keep him for an extra couple of hours because his drinks were just way to good. Before this event I would have told you I don't like hard liquor and I certainly don't like whiskey, now that I have had what I'm calling the best cocktail ever, Sam's "whiskey sour" I've changed my opinion. In short Sam was really awesome, the space he created was hip and modern without being annoying-hipster, he's a professional bartender, he was organized and you will adore him and his tasty liquid creations. Hire him now and add about 2 more hours than what you think you need. I can't wait to have another event, he will be the first vendor I call to make a booking! read more
