A year ago I went to Young Dental Care for a tooth ache. I was told I needed a root canal. After…read morethe root canal I told them it still hurt. Then they said it was the tooth behind the root canal but since that tooth already had an existing crown on it they sent me to an endodontist. Mind you these were both 3 to 4 hour procedures and only a few weeks apart. Two days after the second procedure I woke up at 3am crying because my jaw would not open. I thought I had a stroke so I went to the hospital ER. After many tests and CT Scan the ER Dr. Said I had TMJ most likely caused by the two extrem dental procedures done within weeks of each other. It has now been a full year and I suffer now from this TMJ. It's excruciatingly painful. Cannot eat normal. Open my mouth normal, I constantly have extreme severe headaches feels like my skull is being crushed. And insult to injury, I still need to have the filling completed but I cannot because I cannot open my jaw anymore without extreme pain. Young Dental should have told me to wait until my first root canal was healed before rushing in to do a second procedure so soon after the first one. Now my whole jaw is injured and in extreme severe pain!

They do take the xray, dr comes out sees me for 2 min. says cannot glue it back on, and I don't understand what she is saying anyway. Speaks too fast and too technical for me.
