Extremely Disappointing Experience After 9 Years…read more I have been a patient at this clinic for nearly a decade and never expected to experience what I did today. I've always overlooked small issues in the past, as many patients do, but today was different. During my procedure, the dentist stopped midway and left to attend to other patients without informing me what stage we were at. I was lying there with lidocaine already injected, my heart racing after a difficult drilling process, and I had no idea what was happening or how long he would be gone. When he returned, I calmly asked why the procedure was stopped abruptly and what the status was, but instead of receiving an explanation or reassurance, my simple question was met with irritation. He told me he had three rooms to manage and that this was his "stop point." When I asked what that meant, he became noticeably upset and responded in a very unprofessional manner, even saying my questions were only making the process longer. I work in the medical field myself and welcome patient questions -- they're important for communication, comfort, and trust. Instead, I was met with hostility, no apology, and was ultimately told to go to another dentist, followed by a door being slammed as I left. After 9 years of loyalty, being dismissed over a reasonable question was extremely disappointing. I hope future patients receive clearer communication and more respectful treatment.

I had an appointment this Monday at. 11:00 which I had been anticipating for quite some time. 10 minutes after my arrival, one of the front office staff members tells me "we are going through a transition and if you are seen today, you will have to use out-of-network benefits." She also said. "we will bill your insurance and hope it is the in-network rate." As if I would still be seen and choose to pay more? How does this happen? I am an RN at an outpatient clinic and we ensure all procedures or visits are pre-authorized and in-network. Why do I have to find out about this when I am already at your office? Now. because I am starting a new job, I have no idea when I will be able to get my teeth cleaned. I won't be returning.

They are overpriced they don't follow the rules, they double billed line items and imo are committing insurance fraud. Just flat out greedy and will be reporting to Florida Department of Professional Regulations as they should be investigated for their unethical behavior. We will be finding a reputable dentist that is not passionate for greed but actually cares about patients. Avoid!

I decided to chuck my dental insurance and go to a dentist I found rather than one they told me to see. First I actually went in person to see the facility and get their pricing. The receptionist, Haydee, was SO nice. She even tried to call my dental insurance for me (they never answered) and offered to watch my son during my dental appointment if I couldn't get a sitter. My actual appointment was great. The entire thing, exam and cleaning, took about 45 minutes. There was no talk of needing an appointment for an exam and a different one for a cleaning like the two other places I'd been. I had my X-rays sent over from a previous dentist so I didn't need those again. Dr. Vito did his exam first and Cindy did my cleaning. The cleaning was gentle and she got the coffee stain off my front teeth. I didn't get pressured whatsoever to buy more services and feel I can trust Dr. Vito's advice in the future.

That dentist told me I would need ALL this very, very expensive dental work immediately. I felt weird about it so I waited a week to see Dr. Kennedy when he came back into town today.
