Took care of all the framing, window/door installation, and siding. Price was reasonable and the quality of work was great! One of the major issues I've had with contractors over the years is communication, and Joe really excels at that. It makes the process quicker and everyone is on the same page. Overall, I would definitely go through Joe and his crew again, and would recommend him for any construction project.

Remodels can be an absolutely amazing experience if you have the best partner working alongside…read moreyou. Chris and Jim are the very best kinds of humans, kind, honest, and hard working--which makes building the kind of relationship you need with your GC easy. Jim came along with us, as we looked at potential homes we wanted to purchase and renovate, and gave us some much needed insight into what was possible and how much work it would take. As we were completely new to the process, he was the voice of reason and experience we needed. He did this not knowing if we would ever purchase a home, or if we would work with his company. He did it because he genuinely wanted to make sure we had the information we needed to make informed decisions. It really felt like he wanted us to have the best home possible. When we finally bought a place, they were there on day 1. We bought a house built in the 1980s, that needed to be transformed completely. From demo to design to building, they were so communicative and invested in making sure we were going to love our new home. No matter the question or issue, Jim always responded right away. And oftentimes, he would come onsite himself to check things out, fix things, or install things. I have heard horror stories about other GCs, but the Petrickas go above and beyond. They've become like family to me, and I would wholeheartedly recommend partnering with them on any project. They might become part of your family too.

They were easy to schedule with, were very flexible about working around my schedule and communicative. Azat worked quickly and the cabinets ended up looking great and I'm very happy with them. But despite the fact that this was my oversight, Azat was very gracious and drove all the way out and installed the handles for me later when I found the ones I liked... free of charge. I would definitely use ProFix in the future for any other handyman needs!

From the moment he arrived, I knew I was in good hands. Lado is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also one of the most professional and hardworking contractors I've ever met. The project involved figuring out how to best fit in with the existing features of the room (high ceiling, big window, decorative columns, wrapping around corners etc). The design and final build quality was excellent -- and less than half the cost of the pre-made shelving design bids. I had thought that custom built-ins would be more expensive, and they were much cheaper! I'd use them again in a hot second. Per communications -- I had no problems -- keep in mind that they are a working shop and don't have full-time customer service people sitting by the phone all day long. The one other fyi is that they do the cabinetry, not the cabinet painting, so you need to arrange the painting as a second step. (Even with the cost of painting, my project is still thousands cheaper than the pre-made stuff that I had gotten a bid for.)

When building our house, we balked at the price quote our builder provided for our custom built cabinetry. So we decided to head out on our own and try to find better work AND a better price. The first guy we found gave us an identical quote and had no real samples to show us... sooo that was big no. We were beginning to wonder if we should just go with the one that our contractor had recommended. But we found distinctive wood crafts (by googling, i think) and their quote came in at about 70% of the initial number! Of course we thought they must be shoddy, right? WRONG! Their work is top notch. We visited the AIA Center for Architecture to see their work. Pretty darn close to perfection. We were sold, and happily so. Not only is the work precise, perfectly functional, and beautiful to look at, it is incredibly sturdy! My kitchen drawers glide effortlessly, even though they've held a couple of large cast iron dutch oven. Those pots are HEAVY!! Sonny did a great job installing, and made the return trip necessary to fine tune everything. He might come across as gruff at times, but who doesn't? He's a good man who's great at what he does. Nine months later, we are still as much in love with our cabinetry as we were the day we moved in. *if you do visit them at the shop, don't worry! it might be in a bit of a disarray, but this is no reflection on their professionalism, promptness, precision, or exquisite attention to detail.
