Since my last review, Drew has sent me several intimidating, threatening, hateful and disturbingly prejudiced e-mails focusing on the fact that I am a disabled older woman and he does not like the fact that I posted a bad review and all those photos of his very shoddy work. The threats are to intimidate me into removing them. Due to the nature of his background, which unfortunately I found out about after I contracted with him, I am really quite frightened that harm may come to me, my 89 year old mother or my home. The police were able to get back a piece of equipment that was taken and not paid for, but they were unable to recover the back pack blower. So, if anything happens to us or my property this is the person who will be responsible. My fence is now 3 weeks old and large sections are literally bowed out and falling off. I have reinforcement pieces holding the fence back. So much of the fence was secured with only one or two screws for a 6 foot slat. The rubber base was only secured in a few places and now large sections have come away from the entire parameter of the fence. I can no longer open one of the gates as this is one of the sections that has bowed out almost completely from the posts. Drew damaged all but two of my posts (they are now split down the length) from him banging on them and not knowing how to remove the old fencing and nails and they were in very good shape before he started work. On one whole side of the fence the slats were all put in slanting to the left, so the fence looks like it is doing the wave. The tops were cut off by Drew so all of this material cannot be re-used. This man tried to con me into setting up an account with his tax ID number and to use my credit card at a wholesale nursery. I was to pick out what I wanted, leave my card on file, he would pick up filler plants and what ever else was needed, pick everything up for me and then he wanted me to purchase mulch, (what he asked me to get - tell him need to fill an entire long open trailer, would have been enough to cover 5 lawns) and he told me not to have it delivered he would pick it up as he wanted to save me the delivery fee. This is a con artist who prays upon the disabled and elderly. This is how I was conned into giving him payment for the job: Drew tells me he has not paid his workers in awhile as he bills people monthly for cutting lawns. His "crew" will not come back to work the next day and work on his client's lawns unless he pays them and therefore, he will not be able to come back the next day and fix what is necessary as he will have to cut lawns. Tells me, I'm going to make your home look beautiful and don't forget I'm giving you such a discounted rate for the landscaping job. I really need your help, I'll be here tomorrow around 10 or 10:30 and work the whole day to make everything right, I swear I will make sure this fence is perfect, but at least you can let your dogs out now. Don't forget the nursery and the mulch, your house is going to look beautiful, ..... and I handed him the check. He never showed up the next day, calls not answered, e-mail not answered. He shows up on Friday just long enough to remove a few pieces of the old fence, tells me he was so sorry, but don't worry I will be there on Thursday your scheduled in for the entire day and I will have 3 of my guys with me to take care of everything. Don't forget .. make sure you take care of the plants and mulch. Thursday comes and goes and he must be upset that I did not pay for and leave the plants and mulch for him to pick up and steal. I have been told by a few contractors that my fence cannot be salvaged, the posts are now so damaged, the slats are cut off on the tops, a large section slanted and then cut off and cannot be re-used. The 2x4's might be able to be salvaged and used. All Drew had to do was keep his word and fix his mistakes. Instead this man saw me as an easy mark, disabled older woman, can barely get around, what is she going to do. Well this old crippled girl is going to sue you, that's what I'm going to do. read more

I meet Drew's Cutting Crew when they were doing a Landscaping job for my neighbor. They were the most hardworking, professional, courteous, and detail-oriented young men that I have met in a very long time. I was totally impressed with how they turned my neighbor's long neglected yard into something beautiful. I then hired them myself to cut down branches from trees in our yard and spray weeds in all of my flower beds. They cut down a lot of branches, cut them up and hauled them all away. I can now look out my kitchen window and see my whole yard again. My husband can mow the lawn and not get hit by low hanging branches. They complete their contracts and their word is solid.
