Based on my experience with dealing with painters, cancelling, not showing up without a call or showing up 2 hours late for an estimate. We just had 2 painting groups for the same job, because the first group. Painted our ceilings bright yellow. And the walls a very dark, deep grayish blue. I had the containers marked with the color sample cards with directions as to what paint goes where! The problem was they did not read or write English and were using phones for their needs for translation! After coming onsite to quote they told me that date of service was not available. When I offered to switch days they still would not provide me with a quote because I had another painting company onsite that day providing a quote and essentially I can just go with them. I think it is pretty common for people to request 2-3 quotes for a project to compare, seems fair but if Pitney Painting doesn't want our business so be it. We will not be using them anytime soon.
