I have asked him to do a 4 room job in June without meeting him. Based on my experience with dealing with painters, cancelling, not showing up without a call or showing up 2 hours late for an estimate. We just had 2 painting groups for the same job, because the first group. Painted our ceilings bright yellow. And the walls a very dark, deep grayish blue. I had the containers marked with the color sample cards with directions as to what paint goes where! The problem was they did not read or write English and were using phones for their needs for translation! What a mess, I had to go a buy large plastic containers of primmer to cover the ugliest rooms you could EVER SEE!! Thank

He gave me a number to paint the entire outside and repair the widow and door trim. He was super considerate of my tenants in the house, cleaned up well after the work and did an excellent job especially for the cost!! Painting and repairs have always been my fault as it is definitely an art vs task. I see it as something that could be done cheap as I could technically paint. However a bad paint job is definitely an eyesore and after baking an amazing cake messing up the icing makes the cake look plain bad. After estimates from people that seriously concerned me, Dave Danke from Paint All Painting immediately set me at ease and addressed all of my concerns. He arrived at the home and was an actual person who looked at my house how I was looking at my house.. eyes wide open. He explained how my idea of colors contrasted a bit too much and how they didn't compliment the light intake that I was getting from my windows. He showed me color a design that immediately made sense. Then he recommended an "accent wall" which I have never seen and seemed confusing since I originally chose contrasting colors but it made sense. He somehow did this all without insulting my original choices which in hind sight impressed me since I'm super stubborn. The application was efficent, clean and absolutely amazing. Given my circumstances he managed to deal with me and my busy schedule, I was absolutely blown away. The work was done a while back and still holds like the day it was applied. I actually came across this Yelp while trying to locate his services again and decided the review was warranted. I literally use Yelp for food.. but this one gets a 5 star. If only I could show you all my 1 stars in home repair and services as I've used quite a few. Hopefully I can get him to drive a bit to service my residence in north Jersey. Definitely worth the offer to cover travel expenses.

After coming onsite to quote they told me that date of service was not available. When I offered to switch days they still would not provide me with a quote because I had another painting company onsite that day providing a quote and essentially I can just go with them. I think it is pretty common for people to request 2-3 quotes for a project to compare, seems fair but if Pitney Painting doesn't want our business so be it. We will not be using them anytime soon.
